On Thursday, CNBC's Alex Sherman reported that Netflix is pursuing more NFL exposure...
quote:

"Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos told me he frequently talks about adding more NFL games with [Roger] Goodell, but the question always comes back to whether Netflix feels it can 'eventize' the game beyond a random regular season occasion," Sherman wrote.

"There's a reason the NFL commissioner showed up at this Upfront. Netflix has a market valuation of nearly $500 billion," Sherman said. "To use a Christmas analogy, Goodell wants to make sure Netflix isn't just the ghost of Christmas present, but also the ghost of Christmas future."

If the Netflix production is as bad as Amazon's then it's full bore no bueno. One day Goodell will be gone and it can't happen soon enough. Grossly overpaid POS.

Great, yet another streaming service NFL fans would have to add to watch a game. This is getting ridiculous. MLB, NFL.....sick of all these random games only available on random streaming services.

decades ago watching professional football was yuge. the nfl (gooodell) played a big part in the lack of interest by former fans. espn has their stink fingers in it by making it political. as the saying goes, "go woke, go broke".

The day you need an extra subscription to watch the NFL is the day that I quit watching.

NFL games has been behind cable paywall for decades.

If you're actually a big NFL fan, I still think youtube tv + Sunday ticket is the best deal in sports.

How about just televising a good ole smash mouth football game, with solid+ commentating. The game needs no frillz.
