4 years of losing records can’t happen…

Now, I’m scared to death we are becoming Nebraska. Our league is the strongest around and now there are two more teams to deal with. Wish I was more optimistic. Oh well.

Knee jerk reaction is to bail: Pull the QB and point fingers the rest of the season. That would bury us.

Cal isnt New Mexico State. We can work ourselves back onto schedule.

We have a coach that called a 4th and 2 bomb from mid-field early in a tie game today with a QB that sucks. That is not ballsy. That is STUPID. The idiot was fortunate to beat bama a couple of times while he was cheating like crazy and some people thought that made him a great coach. The fact is he has been calling stupid plays and taking low percentage, unnecessary risks like the 4th and 2 today his whole career. We won't snifff 9 wins under him more than once over the next 4 years but we're stuck with him. I'm done with him and fully expect to be miserable most of the time I waste watching AU football until he is gone in 2028.

This is where I am. With legalized cheating, I can’t help but think that non-state schools like Auburn will be relegated to flash in the pan years.

Fair enough and agreed but it doesn't change that we have a serious qb and coaching problem, again

I thought that too until we were flirting with the number 1 class this season unless the on field product derails it

Not saying it does.

Last week I even said, we need to settle down on Freeze. He’s recruited well but that’s only have his job and the jury is still out on the other half.

The problem with our fanbase is the roller coaster ride. They take highs too high and lows too low. We beat Alabama A&M and we’re back. Then we lose to Cal and we’re going winless.

Texas fan on the rant this morning said he could see Cal beating us today. We had fans laugh at it. I said wouldn’t shock me.

One thing about brown is he seems to get rid of the ball quickly.

This

And that is exactly what this team needs, not triple pump chump.

Also a serious OL problem, which amplifies the other two.

I just feel like the program is down in the cellar. This will be the 5th straight losing season unless there is some drastic change that vastly improves the team this year (I doubt it).

AU is now Miss St. as a program. It's just reality.

The Oline would be just fine with a competent QB that makes other teams worry about the passing game.

Ummmmm.. We finished with a Top10 class last year, and sitting at #5 for 2025.

Please tell me how recruiting is the problem.

Yes that has been a problem for years now too but they were giving time in the 4th quarter and thorne just looked totally lost

It's so depressing to think about how close we were to hiring Lane Kiffin.

I'm not fully on board with Hugh being a fraud yet, but pretty close to it. There's still some wiggle room on the talent issue, 1.5 years of classes doesn't fix what Gus and Harsin broke. But it's really hard to keep ignoring losing to much less talented teams that look so much better in every facet of the game than we do.
