I like Yox. I've spent time with him and he is gifted at what he does. However, I was frustrated, like someone else has already mentioned, that he allowed himself to be undermined. That's a big deal. Yox wasn't Chizik's guy and often they both struggled with mutual respect. It showed by the enormous outflow of comments from players and people around the program about relaxed workout requirements.
It's good that Gus gets his guy in this area. That's an important staff member.

Agreed. We aren't Arkansas State, but according to a few of their fans, their S&C improved dramatically with Gus.

This was the last hold-over from the Tuberville Era -- yox came over with tubs in 99... it's a little bitter sweet.
He had a pretty damn good 13 year run, but some new blood won't be a bad thing.
