Yea, the HD antennas now are solid. You just plug them in and they are basically good to go.
If you live somewhere very remote or with a ton of interferrence or something, they may have some issues, but generaly they are good.

It looks like the FOX affiliate antenna is only 14 miles from me, should be good enough. It delivers tomorrow, so I'll give it a test run.
If not, I'll do a free trial with some other provider.

Ordered an HD antenna. I cut the cord a long time ago, and in the last 2 years I've been cutting streaming services as well. Should be here tomorrow for me to test before Friday.

Bunch of bullcrap, if it happens though, I won't feel too bad about missing the game due to my son's football game Friday night.

Fox shouldn't be hard to get. There are apps on the play store that carry broadcast channels for free.

I had one at my last house. The image quality with the HD antenna was outstanding. Better than the cable connection

Youtubetv and Fox reached a short term deal. Youtubetv should carry the game.

Absolutely. If I ever tune into NBC (rarely) I use an antenna, and the picture is second to none. I use it over wife's peacock subscription.

It's because there is less "processing." You are picking up the feed directly from the station itself. It isn't being sent through a ton of "hops" before hitting your TV.
Over-the-air is also good if you don't like being about a minute behind live action. That's the one thing I hate about streaming - you are always well behind live.

For a few seasons on here, Lanier was always ahead of everyone in the game threads.
Kept that one for myself

This is the absolute right answer. Last year I got tired of this shite and researched how to set up IPTV. Takes
About $60 a year in subscriptions and 2 hours of work a year with an initial investment of 4-6 hours.
If providers and broadcasters didn’t want piracy, they’d stop fricking the consumer. Simple as that.
