Pair of arrests near home in Georgia. Disorderly conduct and a DUI-Less charge. In a span of about a week

Agree with this.

This is a serious learning opportunity at a seriously low cost. Even with Gus being a stickler, these don’t seem like, from the little info we have, something Gus would dismiss him outright for. Sounds like he was transitioning into the secondary anyway. It’s an opportunity for him to grow a little during a time where he’s transition on the field too.

The doghouse can be a good place for some players. He may thrive with a foot on his neck.

If he is going to thrive, it’s probably going to be somewhere else.

"Its not his friends. Its him. He did it"

It's the people he hangs around with. Different crowd with different ambitions and he's still playing football instead of selling drugs on the street corner waiting on a cop in a bad mood.

I have multiple friends who have been arrested for a DUI that carry a strong work ethic as well as bold ambitions. They got DUI's because of momentary lapses in judgement. Not because their friends want to sell drugs on street corners.

Unless I’ve missed something, that’s a huge unknown here We know that he was arrested. For all we know, he’s the bad friend.

Again, these are small problems. He’s probably going to keep his spot on the team if this is it. Hopefully he learns

OK, so go with the It was nothing, he was drinking all alone and was on his way home .....Yeah right.

He's got a group of friends that don't have his best interests at heart. If he has a possible future in football to the next level ...he needs to grow up fast and get his priorities straight instead of throwing away the opportunity of a lifetime. There is far more at stake than a position on a football team. There is an education behind it ....get kicked off the team and the Education vanishes with the position.

Otherwise we have the "Make an excuse" syndrome ..
