Based on the responses, it's evident I was confusing the symptom for the cause. Lack of production at WR position hasn't been the WR's fault.

I don't disagree with anything anyone has said.

What is a TE at Auburn? Haven't seen this before in the CGM era.

Brady came into LSU and not only infused steroids into the passing game, but he implemented drills and technique for the WR’s,

I think the keys are implementing drills AND Techniques for the WRs.

Man, if you watched the LSU games at all, those routes their WRs ran were varied and precise. And you can tell that probably Brady set these up and had them practice them over and over w/ the QB getting timing and familiar with each other.

We don't have that type of level of WR/OC planning or coordination on Gus staff.

yes, auburn doesn't practice QB/WR drills to get familiar with each other or to set up timing. some say gus doesn't even let the QB throw to WRs at all during practices.

I almost thought you were kidding, but then I realized you didn't really read my comments.

Key words in my post were 'type of level of ....planning or coordination'.
I never said we DIDN't practice drills...

Look at Darius Slaytons rookie year, with proper coaching the giants found a solid wr and future #1.

NFL.com has in the top 25 rookies this year, but he only ran deep routes here.
