And by 'okay with a committee', I mean a close-knit group of successful businessmen that know what success looks like.

The University President should be on that decision-making body in name only.

I don't disagree with a committee, but the committee should've convened after the South Carolina game and got all this shite taken care of. If they really have fired Gus without having some idea of who they are going after, they are the dumbest, most ineffectual P5 university group in the nation.

If Auburn ends up blowing this (which is more likely than not), I'm gonna end up laughing so hard at the Allen-Greene'sters.

Napier would be a solid choice.

Yep. Just watched an interview with him on a Louisiana radio show. Dude is all bizness and seems to have a solid plan for his current program.

He is the son of a HS coach. He has personally coached under Saban, Dabo, Todd Graham, and McElwain. (Graham is a good friend of Gus and hired Gus at Tulsa). He talked about his time under each of these coaches, how they did things, etc. Was interesting.

I would definitely not be sad to see him hired.

I am worried today that we are going to end up with Steele

I’m not. We hire Steele and I continue to not watch, spend money, etc. No sweat off my sack.

If it's Steele the fanbase will be fractured beyond repair. I will 100% walk away from all things Auburn and I'm not alone

I'm good with Steele staying as DC.

Not as head coach.
