Gotcha. Doing research on some other things outside of sports today so kind in brain fog.
I’m seeing more stuff now. 7 years in both football and basketball since 2012 until 2020 multiple 1 violations. Lack of institutional control. LSU is a cash cow so I don’t see them getting SMU’d. But wow. Auburn on probation for enticing players to leave what the hell will happen to LSU?
And rumors that UTk NIL signed the 5 star QB to $8 million over 4 years. That’s what number 1 draft picks make in the nba over 3 years. If this is the new college sports I might have to just fold ‘em and watch club sports

To get the SMU death sentence involves being on probation already, then getting found guilty of violations conducted after being placed on probation.
Florida should have been the next school with a death sentence. Spurrier should have been watching the new grass grow at Florida Field for two years instead of playing football.

The death penalty will never be used again, but I can easily see massive sanction like the Penn State football team got under Paterno. After reading all the allegations against Wade and LSU, that fricker won't ever work again in collegiate athletics. He'll be lucky to get a job coaching a middle school girls team.
