They better not get to play in NCAA tourney and get a pass.
I'd bet quite a few of these kids end up missing the NCAA tournament due to schools sitting them out

They should just disown their families

always seems to work for that east miss junior college...heck they even have coaches paying the kids and getting away with it....when caught replace the coach....

You're the reason Rig left the thread up. He knew the entertainment would continue.

Arizona has announced that Deandre Ayton is eligible and will play tonight
So he gets paid $100k and gets to play, Wiley gets ~$10k and supposedly repays it and is out the rest of the year?
Sounds legit

That's just asking to go on probation. No way they can argue that they didn't know or shouldn't have known now. Either that or they know they are screwed and decided to go with the they can't make us vacate memories route.

I mean, I'd definitely do the same thing in their situation. Interesting that they put Romar as HC given Washington ahd some players involved in the leak under his watch

They're screwed. I'd hope we do the same.
If he's been playing all year then they are going to vacate them anyway

He's already played this year so sitting him wouldn't accomplish anything. Either the year will be vacated or it won't

Good.. The NCAA has no power anymore. If you could pay players legally the market for this wouldn't exist... Mark Emmert needs to be more worried about finding out about all the sexual assaults at Michigan State that he didn't bother to care about.

quote:At this point, they’d already have to vacate all their wins anyway. Might as well play him and see how you can do down the stretch. If he gets ruled ineligible their season is basically over anyway (no ncaa tourny). I think that’s what most of these teams will do until they’re forced to pull them.
