I agree. They’ve given up 21 and 24 in games where we gave the other team 10 turnovers. The defense has its warts and are going to get shredded by the elite offensive teams, but they haven’t been bad thus far.

Watched Aaron Murrays breakdown. Lots of little things that add up.
we lack leadership as our better players are young and need accountability but we got no Sr leaders. Especially Coleman

We outgained them by 100 yards. Had 130 more yards through the air. They out rushed us by 40 yards on 55 carries vs Auburn's 26 carries.
Once again, it came down to turnovers, which we were -3 in(one going in for a TD), and time of Possession, which they held the ball for over 13 minutes longer than we did. That's the story if the game.

Exactly one coach coaches the other is a schmuck.

3 man fronts on 3rd and long makes me cringe. It was telegraphed on that disastrous 3rd and 19. What pisses me off is that it wasn't even disguised at all. It was just laid out there for all to see and since we weren't playing the Lower Bruton School of Cosmetology the predictable happened.

F*ck this guy.
He keeps saying talent, but you have more talent than NMST, Cal, and Arkansas. Does he just want to get out of bed (unshaven) and dominate? He looks like an alcoholic on a bender on the sidelines. I would like to get one of those "sun shirts hoodies, but can't find them. (unrelated)
Do we even screen, draw? Run plays your guys can do. We are about to have our 4th losing season in a row. Never thought I would say that in my lifetime. Got a son (13) who just said he wants to go somewhere else.
Chuck Oliver said super conference is coming, and AU is in, maybe, but not lot a lock. What the hell do the president and AD do all day? Very bad Affirmative Action hire that sent us back years, but we were leaking oil for a while.

Idk how that's your takeaway from the game. All these breakdown videos you can watch on YouTube now show that hugh's offense is working. There are open receivers on just about every play and Alston and hunter both had explosive plays in the run game. Arkansas's offense was capitalizing on one blown coverage on defense from keionte having to play safety (still ain't been able to figure this one out) and a defense that is just bad at qb contain rn. Bobby P's scheme and play calls resulted in very little movement of the ball.

He had very little negative to say about PT. Did he say he'd still start hank? I can't remember if he said either way.

He didn’t say that I heard.

No matter how well a running back is taught to hold the ball ......a lucky hit at full speed, helmet on ball ......he can't control or prevent what happens.
Shifting the ball from one hand to the other .....again lucky hit can't be prevented.
Lack of understanding where the surrounding players are .....
If coaching was the key ......there would be more "No fumble games than fumble games."

Alstons fumble doesn't happen if he has the ball high and tight. Most of our backs fumbles have looked preventable.

Freeze rarely got the RBs tackled throughout fall camp due to risk of injury.
That might be a factor into their rusty ball carrying instincts. I have to think the rest of SEC had better fall camps than we did based on our early returns.

Defense - stupid penalties - unable to get a pass rush or contain the QBwith 3 man front - unable to get off field on 3rd and long
Offense - turnovers - poor QB play and poor scheme. We are trying to throw 2/3 of the plays and we don't have a QB who can find an open WR or hit him if he does.

Might play into it. What's the rest of the SEC doing that we aren't? They running more full contact practices? I thought they could only be done last day of the week or some shite.

Hugh doesn’t know what he is doing. Seems like a theme at this point.

Durkin clearly doesn’t want to be here. Same as Derek Mason was a couple years back. I doubt he respects Freeze at all.
I’m tired of watching freeze at the Sunday podium while losing games in epic fashion. He’s still yet to win a meaningful game.

You can't use the talent excuse when you are losing to Cal and Arkansas. They are either just as talented as us or have less talent than us at many positions.
I would say it comes down to coaching. On offense, we abandon the running game early. Against both teams, Hunter was averaging at least 5.6 yards a carry. We need to feed him more and maybe that will help make the passing game easier because forcing a passing game with a below average QB isn't working.
The defense can stop 1st and 2nd down, but 3rd down is a nightmare no matter the distance. The playcalls on 3rd down are too conservative. The other teams are converting broken plays because the 3 rushing DL can't get the catch the QB. I can't expect the secondary to cover for too long. Need to get the QB rushed a bit and make a bad throw.
