You should take a look at Tre Mason's first few games of his heisman finalist 2013 season. It just takes time for an RB to gel with the OL and for Gus to figure out what sort of run plays are going to work best with his teams.

That's not to say Kam is going to end up being great or that Boobie won't wrestle the job away from him.. but 3.6 yards per carry against an elite defense in the first game of the season is "fine."

Meanwhile, as Tre Mason was struggling a little out of the gate, the entire fan base was of course clamoring for more Cameron Artis-Payne.. (Not to mention the entire fan base clamoring for Jeremy Johnson over Nick while Nick was becoming a top 5 Auburn QB in history right in front of us)

I still put Boobee at #1. Shivers is an animal, though. Happy to have him.
