When we go man def against Ga and get smoked for 3 TDs in the first qtr, what say ye?

After that, they will bunch receivers send them deep, we will have no one for run support and they will gash us all day long for double digit gains. So we creep up for run support and they go back to smoking us for long pass tds.
Mason is trying to teach some semblance of zone for when it will be useful, we seem incapable of learning it.
Zone or man we dont seem to be able to figure out where we are supposed to be. Did anyone see that Penn State play where they put a TE lined up behind their best receiver at the line of scrimmage? McCreary covers their receiver.....Smoke also covers the receiver and lets the friggin tight end run completely free. He is a safety, need I tell you the definition of Safety, as in the last line of defense, if you dont cover him WHO else is supposed to? Thats not coaching, thats common friggin sense.
Too many on here blaming Mason and Bobo for things they have no control over, other than benching the players, which we started doing last night.

The zone will never work without outstanding pressure from the DL. We can’t get that with even 4 DL, much less 3.

Now I ask you this, with our remaining schedule, are our opponents better, or worse than who we've played so far?
I watched the Miss State game yesterday, and thought, "we are gonna kill this terrible team". Then our game came on and that thought quickly changed. Will Rogers will look like Joe Montana if we run the same defense we did against Penn State, and the first half of GA St.

No one says you have to rush 3 when you run zone.
I agree the pressure works in zone or man, but if we show all man we will be on here bitching when we do come up against a good passing offense.....which we have not seen yet.
You have to show different looks to a QB or they will figure it out fairly quickly.
