Freeze is a high school coach and has a gimicky offense that was good a decade ago. The game has changed immensely since then. Freeze was not a home run hire by any stretch. He was just lucky enough that Auburn is run by a bunch of hicks like him and the job opened up after legit candidates turned AU down.

We’ve been relevant in the title picture every decade since the 80s. Are we Bama? No. Are we Georgia? No. But we’re a damn good program and should expect better than losing to Cal at home

About an 8/10. We had the worst roster in the conference when he was hired and we all knew this was a long rebuild. Wanting to fire him over one player is short sighted.

We are only talking one full recruiting class so far though. The recent recruiting success might seem like its not translating but that's only because they aren't on our roster yet.

If it doesn’t happen with freeze idk how you don’t go get a kiffen and give him what he wants. Really there are only so many names out there that would be considerable for what it would cost to get them. Kiffen,Riley come to mind. Still haven’t lost faith in freeze though I think he recruits the lines this year and next and we get it together.

if anything my opinion of his ability to ever succeed at AU has diminished below my lowest expectations

We were going to contend... looking to be undefeated for Oklahoma. Woops. One game threw a big ole wrench into that..
Auburn is going to remain in the bottom tier of the SEC for a while. Get used to it.
Waste your money paying into NIL.
Sucks to not have college football as a hobby to enjoy. Nobody likes spending time and effort on a failing hobby. Makes it much less fun.

I am still supportive. Not much else to be at this point. He’s recruiting well. Rebuilding the roster. He had deep hole to dig out of. My main fan frustration- and it’s just fandom- is that I would like for us to be more competitive against teams we should be competitive with at this point with who we have on the roster. Losing like we have lost stinks. Perhaps it is just that I don’t like or don’t want to accept that we aren’t competing well against teams I would prefer to beat with the roster we have——which boils down to things that I am only competent to subjectively observe as a fan- totally emotionally based responses. It’s great to be a fan- it’s also frustrating to be a fan because you cant do much but hope, cheer and wait. But it’s always great to be an Auburn Tiger- except when all you have to do is psycho analyze college kids for 6 days between games. Ha!
