I’d bet a good amount of money Purifoy was never asked if he wanted to play late in tonight’s game. That notion for his situation seems a little strange

Gus does not play his best players. He always plays the older guys. . .

Or something like that

Gus should be required to attend one of Bruce’s coaching clinics every year. Purifoy is obviously in the doghouse right now and has nothing to do with coaching acumen.

He’s not good enough to be in the rotation right now

He was one of our better players 2 years ago, and maybe you're right but I think with the right attitude he clearly has the talent to play at this level. I'd he's not injured, If say it's attitude.

He’s the 10th man, hasn’t played particularly well when on the court, and now is upset with his playing time and posted to Facebook about transferring

Umm, get better or get gone.

Bruce was on JOX earlier and he basically said what most have been saying. It’s nothing Danjel has done, he’s just behind Samir and Malik at the 3 and Chuma and Horace at the 4. He said he would get his shot eventually, that’s just how it always goes. Basically a aid it wouldn’t be fair to those four to play him right now just to play him.

This makes sense. I was wondering why he hadn’t played the past few games. I guess we are running a 9 man rotattion, and he is the 10th man. I know that is what everyone was trying to say, but I’m glad Bruce addressed it, because I was starting to think he was in the doghouse too.

I think the reason everyone cares so much, is because Purifoy playing at his potential in March could be a piece that takes us to the next level. That was definitely my hope when we got him back. And it doesn’t seem like he is ever going to get it back if he doesn’t get any minutes, even in blowouts.

All that said, if his approach to less playing time is to have an attitude, as opposed to working his butt off to prove himself, he won’t be missed at all by me.

I think that’s the public answer to give. My guess is that if Danjel was working hard, he’d find a way into the lineup. Based on when I’ve seen him play, I don’t think he knows how to work hard.

I agree. I think he's every bit as talented as Malik Dunbar if not more. Dunbar just hustles and is super scrappy.
