What's up with Purifoy? Is he in the dog house?

I can't remember the last game he played. Is he hurt or something or is he just in the dog house? Or has he fallen down the ranks in the talent pool?

He’s the 10th man, hasn’t played particularly well when on the court, and now is upset with his playing time and posted to Facebook about transferring

Can only assume he’s in the doghouse. I’m sure we will see a tweet of him contemplating transferring tonight.

He is the 10th man in a 9 man rotation. Won’t play unless foul trouble or injuries occur

I have a hard time believing he is only the tenth best player on our team

He’s playing like the 10th best player. He has the talent to be the best

It's pretty obvious he pissed pearl off in some fashion.

Even if he’s the 10th best player, he got zero time even when tbe game was well out of reach. He’s either in the doghouse and suspended or he’s as good as gone.

I am dumbfounded by everyone’s fascination with this. It’s pretty simple. He’s not good enough to be in the rotation right now

Only qualifier I have is he can be good enough, he’s just not doing what he needs to do to actually be good enough.

At this point, I don’t care if he leaves. Our team has great chemistry- don’t need a bench player screwing that

I wouldn't be surprised if he leaves the team. He's been posting things on Instagram showing he's not happy and clearly frustrated with the situation. Hopefully he stays patient because his time will likely come.

I think most of us get this. The thing that makes it seem like more is that he’s didn’t get in tonight when the game was well in hand.

Fringe rotation players often don’t go in during garbage time in college hoops. A lot of times they are even asked if they want to go in and they’ll say no.

Basketball players don’t play late in blowout games. Coaches ask and they say no way. Simple as that

He’s not playing any at all. What the hell are you trying dodge? He’s not a talent that stays on tbe bench when the game is already in hand. That is the best time to get him going again if there is nothing else going on.

I could definitely see this being the case. Seems like you would want to get him some game experience due to his supension (and I know we did and he sucked). But I’m an idiot and there’s a reason my job has nothing to do with basketball.

He’s just not playing much. It’s as simple as that. Pearl asks if he wants to play and he says no way Bruce I’m a rotation player.

It’s just that simple
