Same for me. I learned the lazy G but got away from it after the first month or so.
Im still very new and havent played much lately. Im practicing with 5 or 6 chords. Im still slow going from G back to C
C to G is OK. Just goin back or going from D to C.

My dad and kid brother are fantastic musicians. I struggle with my hand coordination.

I honestly wished I would have tried when I was younger. I was way more coordinated then and it would have been easier to pick up.
Mostly, I just am not practicing enough. When I play 5 or 6 days in a row, I get way better as you may expect
