Is there a way that the university can internally fund scholarships? The private schools and hope-esque scholarship states have too many built in advantages. There is no way the MS schools should be as dominate, UT now building strength and LSU in typical position.

You have to identify early players that may take a year to be college ready but are great students. Put them on academic scholarship and use your 11.7 baseball scholarships on players that aren’t great students.

Last recruiting cycle Vandy signed 11 of the Top 100. I think we signed 1 or zero. Thinking zero but can’t remember exactly. Granted Vandy lost 2 or 3 to the draft but you see the difference

Gotta also cash in on selling of we are one full season away from Omaha. So for 2 class Butch has had that available to sell to players.

Baseball is the one sport where this advantage is very, very real.

I think the but Jesus deal is gone. Way more Christians would be in favor of it now then 20 years ago. It would pass easily if politicians would get out of the way and say all money goes to schools of the profits. Don’t try allotments for anything else except for education. No secret slush funds. No bail outs to the general fund (slush fund) etc…

Half of our state's super all state team is signing with Mississippi state. Gotta keep the in state talent home first.

That ain't going to happen. Part of that 'free' money coming from lottery/casinos is going to be part of the politicians backdoor approval.

ofc, alabama politicians, even though as you said, has broken the christian coalition of politicians, still fall all over themselves to find another way to kill it.

I thought for sure it finally was going to pass...my bad for being still naive.

What must AU do to teach people not to use the verb form as an adjective?
