Maybe you should try reading the post I was responding to. That person made the definitive statements about the hire and staff decisions.

Big time college football and you’re suggesting our AD should offer the job via zoom or teams?

Does he need one? Maybe I have higher expectations than to think an athletic department that has shite the bed it’s previous 4 attempts should be packing it up with 2 weeks left in the season. Maybe I’m just unreasonable to think you might want to spend that time beating the bushes, and working the phones instead of hinging the entire program on a promise and not a signed agreement from mid tier hire. But hey, that’s what gets you 5-19 Gene, Waffle House Gus, Potato Harsin and Country Club Freeze,

Talked to my dentist today. Deal is in the works with Lincoln Riley. Sumrall is the fall back and he really wants the AU job bad. He is willing to wait on Riley's decision, which could come as soon as next week, but most likely after the last Saturday.

Did you boys find us a coach yet?

It’s not like Sumrall is coaching in Oregon. Tulane is a manageable drive from AU. And honestly, I would drive there to keep all the flight tracking crazies to a minimum.

Didn’t someone here elude to the search would be done via rental car vs plane?

I'll accept that and retract mine. I didn't look to whom you were responding to but that was one poster.

My implication was that communication didn't require an airplane, and it doesn't. Most coaching searches during the season are discrete. Kiffin is an outlier.

Gene, somehow gave us a NC - primarily due to Gus and Cam. Gus almost did and won at a higher rate than our historical average.

You threw out Dan Lanning as a potential target, so yes.

And which plane are you tracking? Who says they haven't flown and met?
You think that there is 1 Auburn jet and that's the one they use for everything? "Flight tracking" isn't even a thing anymore. Every AD knows that morons on the internet try to track the flights. John Cohen could be on any one of a number of planes visiting coaches.

Do not listen to under any circumstance. Go back and look at his simping for POS Freeze just a few years back. Yes, Freeze, the worst coach in Auburn history. Goose loved him! What an idiot. I leave you just a sample quote below from those dire times.

This is big time college football. It’s about optics as much as anything else. Suggesting our AD hop in the car and drive over to Tulane instead of touching down in the jet to interview a coach would get us eviscerated in every corner of the sports world. What are you going to do after you hire him, make him ride in the backseat on the way back to the press conference?

It is, and one potential coach is trying to make the CFP with his team. It could be very much about optics.

Aren't you one of the fools that was pushing for Coach Prime? Here's a little advice that will definitely help you: Do not listen to the others at whatever institute mommy takes you to when she needs a break. Sticking your thumb up your butt is not the way to endless chocolate!

No No No tard. We don't know what would have happened with Prime to AU because it never happened.
What we do know is what happened with your baby boy Freeze to Auburn. Total and complete failure. Worst Auburn coach ever! Pedophile who made a teenage girl change shirts in front of him. Hired hookers for players. Was an idiot on offense. And you, you defended him at every turn.
What a fricking POS you are. I can't imagine the abnormal brain it would take to simp for such a loser.

Oh no, I dared to speak of a coach outside the Sun Belt. How retarded of me to even consider a guy with ties to the state of Alabama and Georgia who’s intimately familiar with the conference and recruiting..
It’s kind of sad seeing how low fan expectations have fallen. Hell, most of you don’t even appear that excited about the guy you claim you want. AU is not going to crawl out of the basement with a HC who doesn’t move the needle. You’re simply begging to be right back here again in 3 or 4 years.

No No No tard. We don't know what would have happened with Prime to AU because it never happened.
I don't recall who your guy was when Harsin was fired, and I definately do not care to waste a second looking into your post history. If it was Prime, you were probably pitching someone unrealistic. That's what people of your IQ usually do. Not being grounded in reality tends to make that mind think fantasy is reality.
On paper, Freeze was the best choice at the time. The head scratcher was Harsin.....Then we found out it started with a loon as university president and an AD who had no business ever being hired.
Go ahead and get another shot in. It's approaching 10pm in Jacksonville. The attendant will be coming around shortly with your bedtime pudding snack and your litium and thorazine.

My god folks, Hugh Freeze! How embarrassing.
