Those two are the difference between Bama going to the NCAA tournament and not even qualifying for the NIT

This is Zep’s last year of eligibility isn’t it?

Don’t need them. But if they want to transfer to a winner, I’ll take em.

Maybe Bruce could get it out of Shack but he wouldn’t see the court on this team. He doesn’t defend.

I hope Shackleford goes pro

I hope BP grabs Tevin Brown from Murray State

This who I'm hoping we snag as well. That dude would flourish under Bruce.

I agree. Bama has like two more five stars joining its team next year. When will it stop???

If you want to see something scary, look at Duke's 2022 class.
They have the #1, 3, 5 and 13 players. 1 and 3 are both 7 footers.
I do think this year will take some of the shine off of Oats, although, they're still a team that can go deep in the tournament if they play well. If they can make the sweet 16 or even farther, they're still going to keep their name in the conversation of being a national contender.
Hopefully this year does a lot for us on the recruiting front. I think Pearl's contract will help as well so that kids will know he's here for the long term.

Buying college basketball teams doesn't work when you don't have the coaching or culture. Ask Penny. He can buy and ruin as many as he wants. We'll just keep raiding the portal.

They absolutely are. Together AU and Murray State have the best W/L record in college basketball.
They are ranked at the top of all mid-majors and undefeated in OVC play iirc.
Tevan Brown just broke the OVC career mark for career 3 pointers. And if Ja isn't putting them on the map enough, Auburn is helping. No joke here, but I could seriously see Murray St. and a few other really good schools become "feeder" programs to Auburn and scheduling with us. It doesn't get said enough, at least not recently that I have seen, but Bruce is a genius at scheduling and deserves a shite-ton of credit there as well.
They are fricking legit IMHO.
And if you haven't seen some of the better memes you are missing out. The Happy Gilmore one cracks me up every time. Sorry I can't find it at the moment.
#15?17? UConn lost a close one today. Morehead State is a game behind Murray State as Murray beat them last week head to head for conference control. St. Louis is doing well. I am trying to keep up as best I can with our non-conference opponents.
And, if I lived anywhere close to any of our non-conference opponents' campuses and had a little cash and some time, I would put on my best AU gear, check out some ball live, make my way to the middle of their student section and cheer on our vanquished like hell. 'rep.
WDE.
