Possibly. But he doesn’t have the acolytes to prove it.

Gus. 3-9- natty.

Freeze- probation.

Kentucky and UCF have pretty good QBs, in case you haven’t seen them. Both are >>> Nix. Either one would have Auburn 3-0 right now. We’ll see what happens now that Gabriel is out at UCF.

Gatewood isn't a good QB, bro. It's fine, he's not here anymore, it's okay to accept that now. Even if Gus had played him here at AU and let him be a Cam/Marshall type RPO QB, he was never going to be anything but a disappointment bc of the Cam comparison AU fans always wanted to make

People wanted Gatewood to play TE before he played garbage time in a 60 point blowout Purdue game when he didn’t even throw. Several years later we’re still burdened with that “opportunity” he had

Good riddance

Few QB's work out. He didnt. He wont at any P5 school.

Its proven. Auburn, Kentucky, UCF

Maybe he should try Mercer or Furman

All I'm saying is, from what I've seen, Malik looks a lot like Marshall in regards to athleticism

Nah, you said "he may be better than Nick Marshall".

Which is crazy.

There are a lot of people that make bad arguments on this site. Myself included I’m sure. But I can’t believe there are still people coming in here making their case for Joey Gatewood hahaha

True. I like Gatewood and wish him well but he’s no Malik Willis and neither could hold Marshall’s jockstrap. That guy just got it . There’s not a stat that you can point to but you just have to watch it to understand. Those were fun times

Some of my favorite football was watching Gus calling 3 different running plays and watch the best defenses in CFB crumble at the option. All good things come to an end, though, and I’m cautiously optimistic again.

2013 may be the most dominate offense any of us will ever see at Auburn

Sadly

By the end of the season it was as dominant as any offense ever. Ran right through 4 elite defenses in the last four games all the way to the end of the Natty. Just needed one more stop
