I honestly think you can throw out any info before 2005. Meyer then Saban changed the way things are viewed.

So encourage him to look elsewhere. There are going to be a lot of openings this season. I'm sure some NFL team would take him on in some capacity, even if not a direct on the field position. That you can frame as a career move for Gus. Offer him money behind closed doors to find his way out of town, that way he saves face by not getting fired, and AU saves face by not looking unstable for firing a coach with a winning record.

Win-win for both parties

Hire Bill Clark
frick SEC
Drive Saban to retirement and expose Kirby as a coattails riding fraud

Does anyone believe R-Kansas is stupid enough to hire Malzahn?

I think their fanbase is too polarized over gus to ever hire him. he'd have to be doing a hell of a lot better than he is right now. I say a lil devil's breath on his waffle and then film him snorting coke off a tranny's penis. badabing badaboom. leads right into "we need a good dedicated family man like bill clark and his milf wife.

Gus is the only "Big 6" coach in the past 20 years to have survived 3 consecutive years of winning 8 games or less.

We have 3 cupcakes, Arkansas, MissSt, Ole Miss + our past 3 cross div opponents have been Mizzou, Vandy and Kentucky. Setting the bar at "0.500 or less" is pretty damn low

Considering the recent poor teams fielded by LSU, UGA and TAMU, it is a damn embarrassment

. 500 or less is ridiculously low.

8 wins should be unacceptable if no improvement is shown year after year

5 years is plenty

Ron Zook, much like Gus, was a coach that never could break the 7-8 win season barrier. Without lucky breaks like we had in 2013, he will never be able to surpass 2nd or 3rd in the SEC West.

We were trying to jetgate Tubz after he had a Win% of 63% over the 3 year period 2001-2003

Malzahn is coming off a 3 year period Win % of 59% and is highly unlikely to be better than 60% over a 4 year period

I just don't see us making a move this year. We will win more games with our talent. JJ is (hopefully) on his way out with "retirement". Also seems like their are scandals popping up in the AD every day.

I hope to God you are not comparing our expectations to expectations of fans of Miss St., Kentucky, Arkansas and Ole Miss.

Cause it seems like you are....and that would be very bad.
