Urban = 82.98%

Harsin= 78.41%

Neither had coached in the south. Not saying he’s the next Urban but who’s to say he’s not? I’m just glad we’re taking a chance on a young coach who will be able to relate to the players and seems to not take shite either. I will say I don’t know shite about him, but I am 100% behind him right now. Let’s hire some great coaches around him and turn this fricker around. WDE!

Debbie Downer perspective:

Urban did it at Utah which (IIRC) he built himself. He also beat Bama in a bowl game didn't he? Harsin did it at Boise, which was built by Petersen into a MW powerhouse by the time he arrived.

That said, I am fully behind Harsin. He deserves a fair shot.

No.

Urban Meyer did beat Alabama during that 2008 season, though, but he was at Florida.

Were you on the Cristobal train? Because Harsin beat him in a bowl game a few years ago.

Offensive Coordinator. He made the 2pt conversion call to beat Oklahoma.

Everyone please stop comparing him to Urban. He may turn out to be a dynamite hire, we will certainly see. They are not the same though.

It’s an easy comparison for a new coach with no experience in the south. It’ll be alright buddy. It’s a message board.

He was. He was the one who called the most famous plays in Boise St history.

Yes, a message board, where I’m also allowed to call a silly comparison a silly comparison.
