For 10 Auburn Board Points. When was the last time Auburn lost a football game in the state of Texas?

Bonus: How many games since then has Auburn won in the state of Texas?

I will guess and say we have won 6 since then.

Correct. Don’t spend all your Auburn Board Points in one place!

It was Texas A&M with Bo in the Cotton Bowl 1986.

Think we beat UTx in Austin in the early 90s, then have beaten TAMU 4 straight since they joined the conference, which should be 5 wins in the state since then.

We beat Nebraska in the 2007 cotton bowl (2006) season… need to add one more.

ETA: and wasn’t the Oregon game at Jerryworld in 2019?

Totally forgot about both those games, and you are correct - the 2019 opener was in Arlington.

So we've got a 7-game win streak in the Lone Star State.

I don't remember what year it was. A Texas DB ran Bo down from behind and tackled him. He played in the NFL but I can't remember his name. Deion is the only other person I ever saw run Bo down from behind. Bo stuck his hand out, pushed Deion in the helmet, and ran away from him.

ETA I heard Deion talking about it several years ago on Dan Patrick show.

different show. 1:16 mark
