Home game but I agree Starkville was my least favorite away game. Tequila and cow bells don't mix. Didn't help that we got our arse kicked either.

I really like Starkville. Reminds me of a more centralized Auburn of 20 years ago. Its a good road trip in my experience. TBH I can't say anything bad about any SEC town but I'd put Starkville in the top half. I like Carolina the least just because of how things are laid out and the logistics.

He asked what time the pregame starts. And that is 45 mins before kickoff

I'm not trying to be a jerk, but what even happens before the eagle flies other than warmups? Starting lineup announcements?

It’s been a while since I’ve been to a game, but doesn’t the band circle the stadium?

And does the eagle fly before or after the band starts pregame?

Wasn't knocking Starkville or the tailgating but mainly the in stadium game environment. They even rang those bells during the time outs. Supremely annoying

I'm doing the same. Day tripping from Birmingham for my 3 year old's first game.

Before, the eagle what was I always considered the start of the actual "pregame" but I guess that is open to interpretation.

Same to me. I think the Eagle flight is right around 15 min before Kick, but getting in the stadium and to your seats, you need to get to the gate usually about 45 min before kick. Maybe add another 10 minutes for Upper Deck.

Actually not true. The band comes in the stadium, circles and plays a little, then exits the stadium to come back in to take the field. Then then eagle then the band takes the field. Then the players then the carnage.

FYI, If you go up to the statue area after the tiger walk and before the 4 corners pep rally, there is a very good chance your son can get to see Aubie. The band and cheer girls are usually up there staged to do the walk down to 4 corners.

Great photo op for him.
