Florida, FSU, and a few others out there are having terrible seasons as well, but that does zero for me. The moral victory trophy may be ours for coming close, but it'll all be forgotten as just another losing season.

2012 without a doubt.

Yeah 2012 might never be topped for the sheer beat downs that occurred. AU lost to UGA and Bama by a combined score of 84-0, with both of them playing backups in the second half. Manziel put up like 63 points in JHS, which was and still is a record.

But this is worse in some ways because the team is so talented. This roster is good enough for playoffs but the on-field product still sucks.

That 2012 roster was loaded as 2013 proved. That was the end of Chizik's delusions and his career other than a talking head.

2012 was the absolute nadir in my lifetime. A team that gave up in October.

They were the worst team for sure but as a fan a lot easier when you know the team doesn't care and you have zero expectations. These kind of seasons are much more frustrating.

Well the roster in 2012 was talented enough to play for a natty one year later.
