A better day than even when Malzahn was fired!

No one personally disliked Malzahn. No one likes Harsin and we want him to fail.

I hold no ill will towards Malzahn. He brought us a lot of good times. I was sad to see him go, but I also knew it was the right decision.

I hold nothing but ill will toward Harsin. He brought us nothing but pain.

Harsin is soon just going to be an afterthought.

Im with Lanier on this one. It was dumb to fire Malzahn at the time we fired him. He had just went 6-4 playing an all SEC schedule and was set up to have a better than average year in 2021. He wasn't the long term answer and I'm not sad he's gone but the timing was ridiculously stupid and short sighted.

His recruiting class at the time was in the 60s or 70s. I think he had checked out already.

Then yall are both wrong.

Gus NEVER recruited OL. NEVER. We were never going to be successful doing this. It was never going to work and he wasn't changing. If Arky wanted him that bad, we should have just let him walk.

Well that's just not true. He recruited them. He just didn't recruit well enough. We would have finished 9-4ish last season if he had remained.

Agreed. Malzahn was quirky but seemed like a good dude. Malzahn had a lot to do with 1 title and came dang close to a second. He had ups and downs and eventually he didn't evolve.

Harsin seems like a dick.

I do my best. In my defense i didn't start the thread. I just merely stated we'd be better off currently if we had kept Malzahn and were firing him today instead of Harsin
