Depends on how many of them went to Bama or UGA.

Arky looks good. Their QB will be a challenge for us.
Harsin got him to commit to Boise. Probably the best QB he’s ever recruited .

OSU is overrated but Petrino has worked miracles with their offense. On defense, Williams somehow got a 5 star from UGA to transfer to Arky. (Maybe he was kicked?)

OSU’s defensive strategy is mind boggling so far. Arky’s QB is a great athlete but he is inaccurate as hell. They are biting hard on every play action and giving up huge backside lanes. Stunt your DL to stop the inside run and keep everything else in front of you in the passing game and make him nickel and dime you.

Are we watching the same game? Arky’s QB has been pinpoint all game from what Ive seen.

Not really. Throws have been behind or high and WR’s have made good adjustments on them, when they have been wide open. He throws high and outside often. When he misses, he misses bad. Did the same thing in their last game.
Now, he made a great throw right there on the post. He will make a spectacular throw here and there, but he has struggled in the last game and some already here with routine throws.

Agree to disagree I guess. He’s looked very impressive today.

To my eyes, the Arky had made impressive throws with they needed them. Some early throws were causing the WRs to climb a ladder to get them, but not incompletions.

He definitely looked good on that drive. But I’ve watched him miss a check down wide open guy except for a great adjustment by a wr, miss a throw down the sideline by 10 yards. The throws he has hit so far have been pretty wide open, sans that post he hit on that drive. Had an abysmal throw into the end zone earlier that was almost picked. I’m not saying he is playing bad this game at all, just that he struggles with routine throws and being consistent. He has for years, even at BSU.
He has been lethal on the backside play action so far, but that speaks to what I said on OSU’s defense. They are leaving it wide open, which for an athlete like him is a death sentence. Force him to be a pocket passer instead of leaving the backside wide open for scrambled and roll out passes.
I’m also basing my statement on him from seeing him last game too. I watched him miss very easy throws. Make some very difficult ones.

UC-Davis was in the game with Cal until the 3rd quarter. Their offense isn't suited for the players that are there. Hope the defense can do us a solid.
