If you ask this board they’d tell you that. He didn’t know why the rumors escalated like they did either and was out in front with that. The bunker is kinda like the rant in that it’s a lot more relaxed than 247 so no cares from me.

I find him to be very obnoxious

Man I can’t imagine a world where he stays… I don’t see how he could recruit at all at this point or WFT any assistants would want to sign up for his staff.

I do. I could see some Young guns wanting a chance at the big time. Working for Harsin won’t hurt them later on. We’ve seen that. Or working for him could be as bad as the rumors! Who knows??

Of course he stays. Shelling out 40 mill in a year to make people go away gives anyone pause. The usual dumbasses thought they could run him out of town by smearing his name but blinked when Harsin told them it was gonna cost them 20 mill. Whether you like him or not, the guy is not afraid to get into a dick measuring contest with the yella fella. Imagine being big Jimmy and finding out your wood just didn’t measure up.

Until all this shite went down I was kind of ambivalent about Harsin. I saw some promising things, but I saw some collapses too. But now, I admire how he is standing up to the bullies and saying effectively, “bring it on“. If Auburn wasn’t so fricking stupid and let him do his thing and supported him while he did it we might just have a damn good coach on our hands long-term. But we’re too fricking stupid and egotistical for that so, whatever happens it happens at this point. Worst case, I hope he makes a frick ton of money off of those assholes.

Nah man, that’s the best case. Worst case is Saturdays in the fall suddenly becoming open to Weddings scheduling.

I'm going to laugh when Harsin stays for a year. Somehow pulls 9 wins out of his arse. Then leaves in the middle of the night right before signing day next year.
Can you blame him? We might be worse than Texas-UT Austin boosters. And reminder Auburn arena is now Neville big donor arena.

I like how they waited until the program was kicking arse before they made a donation. Were they there courtside during the awful Tony Barbee years or did they just jump on the bandwagon? I get the wanting to honor your pops angle, they just didn’t want to do it when the program was in the shitter

He never even attended. graduated, coached, or taught at Auburn ever. But he has a big wallet. What whores this school has turned into.

The Neville’s are actually members of the Pat Dye society, even prior to this donation.
That means they have donated in excess of $3M to Auburn Athletics.
But go off.

They’ve given over 100 million to the university

PM’s newest thread on 247
Says resolution could come tomorrow. Could be retained, could be fired. Lawyers don’t think they can fire for cause. Says Gogue isn’t keen on shelling out $18 million.
Then throws out Grimes as a replacement option

So we’re paid for by the hour? It used to be we named buildings and hallways after people who gave their life to the school. Now it’s just to a paycheck. So gross. Craigslist.
Oh and harsin will be retained. (Rightfully). I feel bad for the guy.
What a clown show this place formally known as Auburn is. I’ll be glad when our BOT changes and dumb beat writers are gone.
