Thanks for clearing that up.
Lol. Only reason I posted it was because I couldn't think of any other reason to fly into the shite hole town of Columbus other than to talk with someone affiliated with Auburn about the HC position or buy some cocaine.

Whomever is hired, I hope that they send Pat Dye and his good old boy network packing back to the farm to stay on a permanent basis.

Looking like Chizik will be fired Monday or maybe Sunday. Anyone who says there is a leading candidate is speculating. No one at Auburn is alarmed by the recent reports about the NCAA investigation.

I will be pulling for Auburn today. Will be interesting to see how Chizik handles everything. Hopefully he resigns and goes out gracefully.
Coaching searches are crazy and until they are announced, the only thing we have are rumors.
UT list
-- Baylor coach Art Briles: He's the official candidate of John Adams, which is more than enough reason to get him on the list.
-- Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio. He had big seasons in 2010 and 2011 but the Spartans have underachieved in his sixth year at the helm.
-- North Carolina coach Larry Fedora. After four successful years at Southern Miss, Fedora is 7-4 in his first season with the Tarheels.
-- Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher. He's got a plum gig at FSU, but he's also got a new boss. The resulting power play could push Fisher's name into the picture for jobs at Tennessee, Auburn or elsewhere. Update: This is a great tweet reflecting the skepticism many have about Fisher leaving Tallahassee. Fisher's agent is legendary for floating rumors, and at a "mere" $2.75 million, Fisher's salary has room to grow.
-- Miami (Fla.) coach Al Golden. If Golden wants to jump ship from the NCAA-sanction-plagued Hurricanes program, he could have plenty of landing opportunities. Miami announced Monday it would self-impose another postseason ban for this season.
-- ESPN Monday Night Football commentator Jon Gruden: Sure, it seems like a long shot, and it probably is. But if Gruden decides he wants to coach in the college game, a place like Tennessee makes more sense than any other destination.
-- Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy. If Gundy ever decides to leave his alma mater, he should have plenty of suitors. But Gundy makes $3.2 million annually, making him the ninth-highest paid coach in the nation. Some would question whether he's an elite enough coach to justify the $4 million or so annually it might take to bring him to Knoxville.
-- Cincinnati coach Butch Jones. This guy is Brian Kelly Part 2, right down the nearly identical career path. If and when he decides to leave Cincinnati, he should have plenty of options. Update: Kentucky dismissed rumors that it had offered its job to Jones.
-- UCLA coach Jim Mora Jr. Another longshot at best, but Tennessee can bump Mora's $1.9 million salary and those will millions would go a lot farther in the South than they do in Los Angeles.
UCLA will go for a 10-win season today against Stanford.
-- Mississippi State coach Dan Mullen. He has SEC experience and has been energetic in selling the program. Update: "I'll probably be spotted all over the United States of America," he said Monday. "We're very happy here. No one has called me."
-- Texas Christian coach Gary Patterson. A well-respected defensive coach, Patterson has built TCU into a powerhouse, but he has rebuffed several offers to leave. With TCU now in a BCS conference, that seems unlikely to change.
-- Former Arkansas head coach Bobby Petrino. Despite his disgraceful exit from Arkansas, Petrino is going to land somewhere this offseason -- and whoever hires him will be getting one of the top coaches in the country.
-- Washington coach Steve Sarkisian. He's had four respectable years at Washington, but hasn't broken into the upper tier of the Pac-12. Friday's loss to struggling Washington State ended the season on a sour note.
-- Alabama defensive coordinator Kirby Smart. He'll be a hot coaching candidate for other schools, but given Derek Dooley and Sal Sunseri's struggles, Tennessee will probably seek a proven head coach without ties to Nick Saban.
-- Louisville coach Charlie Strong. He figures to be one of the hottest coaching candidates in the nation, although Louisville has said it will do whatever it takes to keep him in the fold. A former defensive coordinator at South Carolina and Florida, Strong is 23-13 in three seasons at Louisville.
-- Texas Tech coach Tommy Tuberville. He spent 14 years in the SEC at Ole Miss and Auburn, but is just 9-16 in the Big 12 in three years at Texas Tech.

Seems about right. Pretty sure the Chiz announcement will come quickly as that decision has certainly been made already. The NCAA stuff is not even worth commenting on. Slap on the wrist if that.

I'm slowly becoming okay with Bobby.

If the NCAA would "punish" us without anything serious and we got out of Chizik's buyout, that would be a gift
