Given Freeze's recruiting success, perhaps what is needed is a serious upgrade at OC calling plays, QB coach and O-line coach.

I agree. I think bringing in a new OC and OL coach for next season is a logical attempt to trying to improve things.

We are too late for that discussion.
The way he did perfectly for 29 minutes
and then folded just as extravagantly shows the players are not the problem. The coaches are not the problem. He is the problem. He let one bad result beat him up the rest of the game. That's a leadership problem that will continue to be a problem.

So some mid-tier coordinator we bring in who recruits worse is going to magically fix the problem? Suddenly we’re just going to beat Georgia? Is that what y'all are saying?
I seem to remember when Gus was THE problem. Then it was Harsin who was THE problem. Now it’s Hugh.
If we just make one more change at the top, we’ll be winning championships. Do I have that right?

Gus and Harsin were identified as problems and were dealt with.
If you have a problem with not hiring the best replacements then go off.

Well that’s the whole point of this thread. Who is the best realistic replacement?

I will leave the window shopping to the ladies. But I do know rotating OCs or pointing fingers at players isnt going to make the leadership gulf disappear.

Even the message board grass is not always greener.

Keeping Freeze is insane at this point. He is literally worse than Harsin. Now, even his recruiting is starting to suck and will only just suck more as the season goes along. Folks afraid to fire Freeze are simply cowards and pussies who probably stay indoors because if they go out, they might see their own shadow. Only a mo-ron believes that a decent OC would come to AU to work under Freeze.

We haven't even dived into this year's recruiting. I'm sure it will get better by signing day based on this awesome season we are having.
But, I've been assured he just hasn't been given enough time to build his program. I've been assured by Hugh himself that we are very close.

If were CLOSE and the refs are kicking us down, which I do believe. There is nothing that makes me think that it won't continue. I had thought after the OU game that calls would start going our way as makeup calls. It was so obvious in the UGAY game when the ref refused to look at the replay that it was intentional.
What makes anyone think that the calls won't keep going against Auburn until CHF is gone??
