I love Bruce but lets not short what he did. He not only had a BBQ on the wrong weekend, he then directly lied to the NCAA about it
Im so glad we took a chance on him but what he did was wrong and then he compounded it by being sleazy about it
He did way more than just feed a kid a hamburger

Put me in the category as someone that has really flipped my opinion on Lane Kiffen and would take him in a heart beat. He is a running a run first offense, with competent QB play, that utilizes the QB’s feet and WR’s that ball out. And the defense has become much better the past few years. They are in our same division and had 10 wins last year and on pace for 9-10 again this year. Lanes biggest issue imo is the going for it on 4th down as much as he does. Probably need a completely different thread for this soap box, but I just don’t believe the “analytics” apply the same way in the SEC (and specifically SEC West) against elite competition. Those 4th downs 100% are what cost them the game against Auburn last year and should have lost them the game against Kentucky this year.
Everything Lane is accomplishing at Ole Miss he should be able to duplicate and some at Auburn which at a minimum should bring us back to a point where we can win 8-10 games a year. Also, as a side note there FR RB Judkins that is tearing it up this year, desperately wanted to come to Auburn, and we missed out on him going all in on Tre Citizen.

I understand not wanting Freeze because he may be a creep but do yall know how many coaches has skeleton in their closet and can be labeled a "creep"? Out of all the coaches mentioned I bet Lane has a few in his also, Freeze just got caught. If the guy gets hired at Auburn it's not like he is going to be climbing 8 stories in girls dorms to peek in girls showers. Most students there wont even see him outside of football related activities and you have a choice not to attend.

my main gripe with freeze is that he tried to hide his mistakes (which are terrible) behind this façade of Christianity. everyone makes mistakes and has skeletons, and i can certainly forgive him and look past them if he has shown he is sorry and grown. but his blasphemous and blatant misrepresenting of Christ is what bothers me most and i do not want this image as the face of our program.
not to mention he went 12-25 at OM. i'd rather have the guy who is 21-8 (and counting) there instead.
