Need to properly acknowledge Potato Head for the depleted roster.
Today was 100% lack of being coached up. We are 100x more talented than New Mexico St.
Freeze has a history of self discipline issues and it showed again tonight with the most unprepared team and staff I’ve seen. , so I have little interest in him being given too many chances.

The excuse-makers are working overtime tonight, Rhino.

Not sure what was worse. The DJ playing Baby by Justin Beiber before a big down or dumbass defensive coordinator Ron Roberts blitzing the middle backers on 3rd and goal from the 18 to give up an easy rb catch and TD

Sorry you had to spend money to see that, Rhino. AU should refund all of you.

Players fumbled the bag today just as much as the coaches did.

Why do players care at other schools? Aren’t they all NIL whores just the same?

I agree. I think the portal has more to do with it than anything. If you love the school you’re at, play for the school, have school pride and can make some money…great. But the portal allowed all these entitled kids to just take their ball and leave if they don’t like their situation.

Agreed, most pathetic performance. But this is also on the players also, leadership is a huge part of motivation. NIL and a new roster does not build relationships.
It may not be the end of college football, but it is the end of college football as I knew it.
Pro football will dominate in the future. College football cost are out of wack. From coaching salaries, to bloated AD departments, to tailgate guys, to ticket prices.

It will be hard to build relationships on the team if the players are bought and paid for each year. The high turnover that will happened due to transfer portal/NIL will make it hard to build a program that can gel.
The logical answer is to bring in young players , bite the bullet a few years and build a "team". Unfortunately, once some of these young players get good, they will dip their toe in the NIL/transfer pool on you and break up what you wanted to build. Wash/Rinse/Repeat
Hired hands wil always move around and go for the shiny things.

NIL and the transfer rules have absolutely ruined college football.
It is nothing but a semi-pro league at this point, and half of these guys playing are so dumb they couldn't get into their local community college if they weren't football stars.
