This is an MO of Pearl during the regular season. He wants the players to learn how to overcome adversity and how to play through it. He’s quicker to do it when there is more on the line, like in the postseason but probably figures the regular season if a perfect opportunity to find out a lot more about themselves and develop resilience

Only thing a time out does is stop action. Bruce coaches about as hard as you can possibly coach from the sidelines.
Bruce calls timeouts if the other team is showing something we haven’t seen to adjust. If it’s just a run because we are chunking up bad shots he rarely calls timeouts.
