Really wish he would have stayed around. Hope someone takes a chance on him. He’s got potential through the roof.

Lee says it is likely we have 11 scholarship players on our basketball team this year.
Doubts we fill Thor’s spot. Not feeling optimistic about Sills playing for Auburn.

Interesting. King recently said he heard it had been sorted out.

It may be King or someone else on TOS, but whoever claimed it was getting sorted out walked it back a little bit.

That’s crazy to me that this is being so difficult. Universities do this stuff all the time.

JT Thor signs with agency, won't return to Auburn
Auburn power forward JT Thor is turning pro.
Thor announced Saturday on Instagram he's signing with Next Level Sports and Management. He is also partnered with Verus Basketball, an agency that has former Auburn point guard Jared Harper on its talent roster.
According to an NCAA rule change in 2019, draft prospects can sign with an agent and still maintain college eligibility if they terminate all agreements with that agency after going undrafted. Multiple sources have told Auburn Undercover, however, that Thor does not plan on returning to Auburn and has had his sights set on the pros since he declared for the draft in March.
A reclassified high school junior from Norcross, Georgia, when he joined Auburn last year, Thor averaged 9.4 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game as a true freshman, improving as the season progressed. The 6-foot-10 forward showed spurts of NBA-like potential, and Pearl started preaching early on in the season that Thor has a future in the league.
“I think JT is going to be a great NBA player,” Pearl said last month. “I think JT is absolutely a pro. It's up to them to decide when and how soon and how high and all those different things. I have no doubt of his ability.”

Thor is the third Auburn player to go one-and-done in the past two seasons, following Isaac Okoro and Sharife Cooper.

Thor leaving is OK. As long as he makes his way to the NBA that’s a big win for AU.

Desi Sills is going to Arkansas State. Couldn’t get the transfer issues figured out

the frick kind of educating they doin' over there in ar-kansas that their credits won't transfer?
Posted on 6/8/21 at 2:31 pm to TheJones
One would think the credit transfer wrinkles would be ironed out prior to an announcement.....

I’ve seen people transfer from small schools coming from some pretty obscure degrees, still get stuff straightened out at Auburn. Now I’m really curious what these classes were

So with Thor going pro and Desi switching courses, is there any way we find a diamond this late in the process?
