I thought all our possibilities were inside guys.

We’re there any front court guys that might be reclassifying that are good enough to go after?

The Stony Brook guy didn’t pick Auburn. That’s a relief.

I truly think we have been all in on 2021 reclassers/one-time transfer waiver line of thinking since a couple days before the Jalen decision. Bruce has a plan.

Report: Auburn hosting UNA to open 2020-21 season
quote:
Auburn is kicking off next season against an in-state foe.
Bruce Pearl's Tigers will open their 2020-21 campaign in Auburn Arena against North Alabama on Nov. 10, college basketball insider Jon Rothstein said Monday morning.
The teams have met once before when Auburn won at home, 82-61 in 2015.
UNA went 13-17 last year, including an 8-8 record in the Atlantic Sun Conference.
Auburn's other known nonconference matchups for 2020-21 include a road game at Washington as part of a home-and-home from two years ago, and a home game against South Alabama as part of a home-away-home agreement over three seasons.
Auburn will also compete in the 2020 Orlando Invitational over Thanksgiving week against a field including Belmont, Boise State, Gonzaga, Michigan State, Saint Louis, Siena and Xavier.

UPDATE: NCAA announce on conference call they intend to adopt name, image & likeness legislation for 2021-22 that will enable athletes to be compensated for endorsements, social media etc.
For all sports but putting this here because it seems the G league is what sped this legislation up.

Mark Murphy is expecting Dylan Cardwell to get an offer next week. He's reportedly been holding out for an offer from Auburn so if true I'd expect a commitment to follow in the not so distant future.

Sharife Cooper’s dad, Omar, is launching his own sports agency. He’s also going to be partnering with Lil Wayne’s sport’s agency.

The announcements by the NCAA and Omar being so close together seem to suggest it’s not a coincidence. I have to believe Omar wants to represent Sharife.
Theoretically the Omar/ Lil Wayne partnership could open up doors for our recruits because it would allow easy access to agents assuming the agents register with the NCAA first.
With that said, I do not remember all the new NCAA rules regarding agents and such and can’t separate fact from speculation.

I'm not even an oulde and generally agree with the NCAA moving in the direction they are in regards to athletes profiting off image and likeness... but following recruiting is about to be a real headache.

Ofc, the dang article mentions his daughter playing at Baylor but no mention of Sharife signing with Auburn.
You would think his dad would make sure there was a plug for Pearl and Auburn.

Weird snub for sure.
Okoro signed with Omar’s and Lil Wayne’s agencies btw.

FWIW Jason Caldwell said Cardwell is still in a holding pattern with AU & agreed with a poster who said it hinges on Kuminga & more specifically his teammate 4* C Sanogo. Both are 2021 right now but likely to reclassify & they may be a package deal.
