they are going to be a much more streaky shooting team than last year. They will be hot and cold more
The good news is if the D plays like it has we will have a good shot at winning even on the cold nights.

We are much better than I thought we would be. We will win ugly a lot more than we did last year though.

I personally enjoyed watching last year more because I just liked the style more and we had 3 bonafide bucket-getters. This year we only have one bucket-getter but we have a chance to have a better regular season and team.

Our simple offensive mistakes are frustrating but I sure as hell love watching our defense play.

Think about it.

Even though we have 4 starters who played last year, their roles have totally changed as to what position they played mostly and what their role is now.

Plus having to depend more on inside play is opposite of what our offense was last year.

So not surprised by the up and down on offense.

No but the simple frustrations I'm talking about is the inconsistency of finishing when we have fast break #s advantages 5 on 3, 4 on 3, 4 on 2 & 3 on 2. Knowing how to finish in those situations is basketball 101 & changing roles should not be an excuse for that.

You're right, but being dumb 18-20 year old kids is

These issues aren't unique to us by any stretch of the imagination

Just my opinion.

Okoro May become the best player if he continues his work ethic.

I like the length we have so we can switch most screens and guard 1-4 with several players.

Free throw shooting seems to vary. Hopefully things will improve.

We seem more diverse on offense. We won’t shoot as many threes, but we have more guys who can get their own bucket.

When Stretch, Jaylen, and Turbo are ready we will be very deep.

The Orlando Invitational 2020 field has just been announced.

quote:

The eight-team field for the 2020 Orlando Invitational – to be held Thursday, Nov. 26 through Sunday, Nov. 29 at HP Field House at ESPN Wide World of Sports near Orlando, Fla. – will include Auburn, Belmont, Boise State, Gonzaga, Michigan State, Saint Louis, Siena and Xavier.

Four of the eight teams in the field are ranked in the Associated Press Top 25 this week: No. 3 Michigan State, No. 8 Gonzaga, No. 18 Auburn and No. 25 Xavier. Gonzaga has won the Orlando Invitational all three times the team has participated (2008, 2012 and 2016), and Xavier is also a past champion (2015).

The family-friendly tournament is a weekend-long event at the Walt Disney World Resort, where participating teams practice, play and enjoy the Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks. Travel packages are available for fans and include resort accommodations at the team hotel, game tickets, theme park tickets and much more. Visit AnthonyTravel.com/Orlando-Invitational or call 888-632-6951 to make your reservation today.

Villanova won the 2018 Orlando Invitational. Previous winners include West Virginia in 2017, Gonzaga in 2016, 2012 and 2008, Xavier in 2015, Kansas in 2014, Memphis in 2013, Dayton in 2011, Notre Dame in 2010, Florida State in 2009, NC State in 2007 and Arkansas in 2006.

I got girls that will be 5 and 6. Ive been waiting for them to get older so that they can actually remember going to Disney. Might be a good time to go.

On the flip side, I've got a girl who will turn 3 literally the day this tournament ends. Kids under 3 are free at Disney. Is it destiny?

That’s pretty cool. Do they have fast passes like Six Flags?

Most fast passes are, even at six flags, but they are worth every penny.

I get the highest level at six flags, and no matter how busy the park is, I don't wait more than 5 minutes or so to get on a ride, and can ride many of them twice in a row. Hop on one, reserve your spot at the next ride you want to go on. By the time you are done and walk over to the next one, it is time to get on that one.

Yeah I cannot imagine waiting hours in total with my kids. My nerves would be shot.

That’s a nice system.

True now that you mention the kids waiting in line part of it, don't think I could justify going without buying fast pass

Last time I went to six flags, I rode a roller coaster 43 times. Now, some of that was ones I got to ride twice in a row without getting off, but I went from start to finish on roller coasters/ride 43 times.

I think it basically worked out to spending like $3 per ride, to skip the entire line.

Fast Passes at Disney World are no cost... but not every ride is available at any given time.

So how do you obtain exclusivity?
