Nah that was Terrance Clark. Don’t think we had a shot with him. He’s technically 2021 but soon to reclassify.

Auburn sets Pro day for October 4th

AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn basketball is set to host its third annual Pro Day for NBA general managers, front office personnel and scouts Oct. 4 at Auburn Arena.
Over the past two seasons, over 60 NBA representatives have attended the event. All 30 NBA teams are invited to attend Pro Day in which the Tigers will host a practice that will feature select drills put on by the Auburn coaching staff as well as an open-court 5-on-5 scrimmage.
The Tigers have had a plethora of professional interest across the league over the past few seasons. Chuma Okeke became the first Auburn player chosen in the NBA Draft since 2001 when he went 16th overall to the Orlando Magic.
Auburn also had four players participate in the 2019 NBA Summer League in Bryce Brown, Malik Dunbar, Jared Harper and Tyler Harris.
The Tigers are coming off a banner year capped off by the program's first-ever trip to the Final Four.
Despite losing five key players from the 2018-19 team that won 30 games, Auburn returns a core nucleus of five seniors of Samir Doughty, J'Von McCormick, Anfernee McLemore, Danjel Purifoy and Austin Wiley.
With the addition of transfer Javon Franklin as well as Jamal Johnson who took a redshirt last season after transferring from Memphis, the Tigers also brought in a promising crop of freshmen in Babatunde Akingbola, Devan Cambridge, Allen Flanigan, Tyrell Jones, Isaac Okoro and Jaylin Williams.
Auburn begins the 2019-20 season at home against Georgia Southern, Nov. 5.

So there are really 2 good posts by a guy on the bunker that all their writers & mods view as someone really connected with basketball & our recruiting. The posts are too long to summarize & too good to not post so I'm pasting them even if I get in trouble for it.

Basketball Recruiting: Prospect Board & 2020 Class Prediction
Here is a whittled down list of prospects that Bruce and his staff have narrowed their sights in on, as well as a prediction for how I see this class shaking out as of right now. Warning this may be longer than you want to read, and if so the Class prediction is at the bottom.
Point Guard - (Auburn plans to take only 1 PG in this class)
PG Sharife Cooper ***** (GA) - Our PG list truly begins and ends with the 5 star prospect from Atlanta, and anything short of landing the former New Jersey native would be a disappointment for the fanbase as well as the coaching staff. I'm not going to dissect Cooper's skillset as it has been well discussed here in the past, however this young man is the perfect PG to run Pearl's scheme and is an extraordinary leader and playmaker. Steven Pearl is the lead recruiter here, but the whole staff including BP, Wes Flanigan as well as Ira Bowman have all put in major time on landing Cooper its my opinion that it should pay off, and pay off soon.
PG K.D. Johnson **** (GA) - Should we not land Cooper, KD Johnson is the prospect Auburn is most likely to focus its energy and attention on. KD is no slouch and his game and raw athleticism remind me of former Auburn Tiger and current Baylor Bear Davion Mitchell. While not landing Cooper would no doubt be a disappointment, should we land Johnson that would absolutely help cushion the blow, and it's not out of the question that Johnson could be the better long term prospect. The lead recruiter here is Wes Flanigan, and while he has done a very good job here I tend to see Johnson landing with either Georgia Tech or UGA at this time.
PG Deivon Smith **** (GA) - This four star Georgia PG has flown under the radar of national analysts and fans alike until a breakout spring and summer on the Adidas Gauntlet AAU circuit where he averaged 14.8 points, 4.1 assists, and 5.9 rebounds a game. Smith's end to end speed is truly elite, and it's the one asset that sets him apart from a lot of his contemporaries. While the coaching staff has laid some nice ground work here, it's likely that Smith lands at Louisville or NC State as of today.
PG Mike Miles *** (TX) - This 3 star Texas native is a big bodied point guard that could also be a combo guard in Pearl's system. More of a scorer at this point than a facilitator, Miles is excellent at getting to rack and has an uncanny ability to finish through contact. While Auburn recently made Miles's top 5, after talking to a few friends of mine follow the AAU circuit in Texas more than myself, I think its safe to say that this prospect is not likely to land at Auburn and will probably commit and sign with TCU in the early signing period. While this is the case today, should we miss on Cooper then us turning up the heat on Miles is not completely out of the question.
Shooting Guard/Combo Guard (Auburn plans to take 2 out of this group)
SG Jalen Green ***** (CA) - Jalen Green is a once in a generation type athlete and is no question at the top of our list when is comes to landing a second SG in this class. When you watch Green's film his athleticism literally jumps off the screen at you, but it's his ability to make plays in ball screen action as well as his ability to make plays for his teammates that truly makes him elite. While I think we are running third behind Oregon and Memphis right now for Green, who I see as a cross between a young Penny Hardaway and Tracy McGrady (that's a no bullshite comparison I promise), we've got a chance to make a major move on his OV in two weeks and I assure you all hands will be on deck to recruit Green once he steps foot on campus (including Sharief Cooper). While I'm not bullish on our chances here just yet, this is certainly one recruitment to watch moving forward.
SG/CG Cameron Thomas ***** (VA) - Thomas is an excellent scoring two guard that has never seen a shot he doesn't like, and that's probably a good thing as he definitely makes more shots than he misses. While Thomas has more size and is likely a better athlete, his game and mentality remind me very much of Kareem Canty, a guy who just believes he can make any shot and has that scorers swag to him. Thomas is another prospect that will visit soon, and if Auburn decides to push here I think we would have a better than average chance. While this feels like a LSU and NC State battle, I'll be interested to see what our chances are coming out of his upcoming OV.
SG Matthew Murrell **** (TN) - While Green is a complete stud, Murrell is my absolute favorite SG/CG prospect in this class and is tailor made for Pearl's system. Murrell is a powerfully built 6'4 190 pound plus athlete that gets to the rim with ease and has one of the purest shooting strokes that I've scouted this spring and summer. While Vanderbilt has been the odds on favorite from the begining with Murrell from a national perspective, Wes Flanigan has been a dog in this recruitment and I'm cautiously optimistic that Murrell will be in an Auburn uniform come the fall of 2020.
SG/CG Jayden Stone **** (KS) - Stone is a very talented player that is a pure combo guard who is better at creating plays for himself than his teammates at this stage in his career. While Stone had a mediocre to poor showing on the AAU circuit this spring and summer, he's still a talented prospect that Auburn is evaluating, and should we miss out on our top 3 of Green, Thomas, and Murrell, then Stone could find himself the focus of Auburn's attention for our second 2 guard spot in this class.
SG Justin Powell *** (KY) - Committed and potentially the best shooter in this class. Powell has better than advertised athleticism, and this player is someone who could really blossom under Pearl's tutelage.
Wing - (Auburn took 3 Wings in the 2019 class and will not take a Wing in this class)

PF Greg Brown ***** (TX) - This freak athlete is the number 1 target at the 4 position in this class. Brown has the ability to guard 2-5 on the floor, runs like a deer, and has elite off the ball shot blocking ability. While his shooting (especially from three) is still a work in progress, Brown's ability to finish in transition and at the rim in traffic is absolutely elite. I think North Carolina and Texas still have the advantage here right now, however Auburn/Kentucky/Memphis are not going away and all 3 have a chance to gain some momentum in Brown's recruitment with OVs on the horizon. In my opinion, this is one recruitment that is way too uncertain to call at this time.
PF Jaemyn Brakefield **** (WV) - Brakefield is one of the smoothest players/athletes at the 4 position in this class. He has an efficient shooting stroke, sees the floor well and has better than average handles and passing ability for a man his size. Brakefield, like all the forwards that Pearl recruits has plus ability as a defender and rebounder, and if playing inspired basketball could be a difference maker in year one. While Michigan and Ole Miss are under consideration, I think this boils down ultimately to an Auburn vs Louisville battle w/ the Tigers coming out on top.
PF Chris Moore **** (AR) - Moore is the epitome of hustle and effort. No one plays harder and more physical than Chris Moore, though his lack of size could be an issue on the next level. However at only 6'6 Moore out plays guys with much more size at regularity, and his ability to step out and shoot the 3 makes him an extremely tough cover. Wes Flanigan is the lead recruiter here and has done a great job of making sure that Moore is keeping Auburn in his top group of schools, however with Auburn hoping to land either Brown or Brakefield, it's likely that Moore ends up at in state Arkansas. Should our stance with Brakefield and Brown change, us ramping up attention in Moore's recruitment is not out of the question.
PF Rongie Gordon **** (AL) - Gordon had an excellent spring and summer on the AAU Under Armor Circuit, and is the definition of blue collar. While he is excellent playing around the rim and finishing in transition, his improvement in handling the ball and shooting from three is what has really caught college coaching staffs by surprise. Should we miss on Brakefield, Gordon is my dark horse candidate to land in the class.
Center (Auburn Plans to take 1 Center in this Class)
C Walker Kessler ***** (GA) - Just like Sharife Cooper, Walker Kessler is where it begins and ends with big man recruiting in this class. Kessler is a supremely skilled big man that displays a variety of scoring moves on the low block as well as having shown the ability to step out and be a real threat from 3. While Kessler is not an exceptional athlete, he certainly possess more than enough athleticism to be effective and really moves well up and down the court in transition. Kessler is a positional rebounder and solid defender that should only get better in these parts of the game once he has some time in a college S&C program. The lead recruiter here is Steven Pearl, however we are also getting an assist from close friend Justin Powell as well as BP himself. To me something would have really to change for Kessler not to end up an Auburn Tiger.
C Cliff Omoruyi **** (NJ) - Omoruyi dominates through extremely impressive strength and phyicality. While he is only an at the rim scorer right now, offense is not Omoruyi's game. He instead controls the paint with his athleticism, rebounding and shot blocking prowess, and is an elite finisher at the rim when he gets his chances. Omoruyi is raw, but God Damn is he talented. If he ever puts it all together he could really excel at this next level. While Ira Bowman has really worked hard on this recruitment and has us in contention at the top for Omoruyi, if we land Kessler then I don't see Cliff landing here as well.
C Jaylin Williams **** (AR) - Another Wes Flanigan target (hope you guys are starting to see a trend here), Williams had a really good spring and summer on the AAU circuit which caught a lot of college coaching staffs' attention. Williams is an inside and outside scoring threat that rebounds as well as any big man I've watched in this class. Williams runs the floor well and has above average athleticism, and should Auburn miss on its top 2 targets here then it would absolutely be pleased to land Williams if he were still available. Unfortunately I don't believe that will be the case, as I think Williams lands at Oklahoma State or Arkansas here in the near future.

With five spots coming open after this season, this is how I see us filling those five spots as of today:
1. PG Sharief Cooper ***** Ranked #16 Nationally
2. SG Matthew Murrell **** Ranked #45 Nationally
3. SG Justin Powell *** Not Ranked Nationally at this time
4. PF Jaemyn Brakefield **** Ranked #36 Nationally
5. C Walker Kessler ***** Ranked #20 Nationally
Should we pull this off, and I think it's a strong likelihood that we do, that is easily the best class ever in the Bruce Pearl Auburn Basketball era.
