No, Holy Spirit Prep is not a member of the GHSA, however, not mentioning Anthony Edwards was simply not an option for us. There is a growing consensus the 6-foot-5 combo guard might be the best player in the country no matter the classification. This kid has NBA written all over him and it’s on full display everytime he takes the court. Edwards is a smooth ball-handler, fluid passer, solid defender, and scoring machine who is on the verge of superstardom. Auburn,Florida, Florida State, Memphis, and Kansas all seem to be serious suitors for the five-star wing. Despite not being in the Georgia High School Association, Holy Spirt will battle GHSA powerhouses McEachern, Meadowcreek, and Wheeler in 2018-19.

Sorry guys. Ended up moving and sitting with some people I hadn’t seen in a while.

Overall it wasn’t too bad. Definitely had to shake some rust off.

Anfernee fouled out but looked good considering the injury and time off.

Dunbar can’t shoot... unless play is stopped and he just shoots to shoot.

Harper, Bryce, and Anfernee all left limping at some point.

Bryce looked good when he shot.

Harper also looked good.

Horace showed some nice improvement in my opinion.

J’von didn’t show my anything. Hoping it was an off night.

Purifoy looked rusty.

Yep. It was nice to see us finish some things in traffic around the rim. Harper has a few really nice ones high off the glass. Horace was working everyone they put on him. This team is going to be really good when the threes are falling. We looked much less one dimensional than last year.

He played with more effort on D than I remember. He honestly just didn’t have as many opportunities on offense and when he got any it seemed like he was fouled.
