I genuinely like every guy on this team. They can be frustrating at times but all 9 guys usually find ways to contribute.

Yep. All 9 guys are interchangeable yet all 9 guys contribute in their own unique way. It's so much fun to watch all these pieces play together.

Anyone is welcome to join me in doing the basketball lord's work on twitter.

Just search Auburn, find butthurt UK fans and troll them. When they inevitably clap back at you, just roll with the punch and counter at the chin

General Template

AU Fan - "Good luck with NIT"

Butthurt UK Fan - "rabble rabble Auburn never makes tournament or NIT rabble rabble"

AU Fan - "Going to the NIT AND losing to a team who is historically that bad? This really is a rough season for Kentucky"

Might have been his best game last night. Was ripping down crucial late rebounds & helped get us going twice when we were getting stagnant on offense

The stretch where he had the alleys and blocks was a complete momentum shift. The game was over after that.

It was incredible. His blocks are ridiculous. Every time you 'll say "wow, that was awesome"

He's underrated as is Murray.

McElmore has been doing a great job staying in his "Cone of Verticality" to not foul recently as well

He will get less blocks, but he will still alter shots, frustrate opponents and stay out of foul trouble

Cincy goes down, and ridiculously overrated Ohio St is getting ran out of the building. Moving on up.

#5 Purdue & #6 Cincy lost today and #8 OSU getting killed at half."

Everything coming up roses for Auburn right now.

So what do yall think is a good expectation of how the roster will look next season?

-Is it official that Babatunde Akingbola will reclassify and enroll with the 2018 class? I've only seen that on here.
-How likely is it that Wiley and/Purifoy return and play for Auburn next season?
-How likely is it that Mustapha Heron, or even Bryce Brown decides to leave early and declare for the draft?

If nobody leaves and everybody returns, and Akingbola reclassified then theres your 13 scholarships. But if we lose somebody or Akingbola has to wait, how do we fill that spot?

I've read it's a good year on the grad transfer market for big men. Part of me actually wishes Akingbola would just wait a year and have us get a solid grad transfer Center.

Who knows of any tangible options we are looking at in case we have to bring somebody else in?

Seeing a lot of teams wearing down. Figured it was only a matter of time for Purdue. They do this a lot. The big 10 is crap, so hopefully they'll finally punish them.

Nova lost too, and has to play Xavier later this week. So that could be a total of 4 teams ahead of us dropping a game. This USC game is another huge game for us for rankings and for winning the SEC. I haven't watched them play this year at all though and don't know what to expect.

It is my understanding that this is pretty certain.

Akingbola doesn't affect whether we are willing to take a grad transfer big man or not

If everyone comes back and Akingbola comes in that's all 13 scholarships accounted for.

Everybody is not coming back though. I would be surprised if the NCAA let Danjel play another college game at all. Wiley will go pro if he has a good NBA combine in May which is expected around the complex.

If Wiley comes back, we don't need a grad transfer big man. If Wiley leaves, we have an open scholarsihp for a grad transfer big man

I still don't think we take a grad transfer big unless we have at least 2 departures. We don't have very many minutes to give

They're physical and active defensively. Struggle to score in streaks. Capable of winning in any given night

Respectfully disagree w/ this. We are under manned at the bigs w/ only 4 eligible on roster. At minimum you want 5. If Wiley goes pro I don't see how we don't use 1 of the open schollies for a quality GT Big.

I was talking in the context of Akingbola reclassifies. That would give us 5 players in the post before you consider Purifoy/Wiley. Both Purifoy/Wiley can be considered a 6th option as either deep rotation/emergency option 4 (Purifoy) or starter at 5 (Wiley)

If Wiley leaves, I could see us testing the market to find someone who'd be a clear, obvious starter over McElmore/Spencer. Just not sure we'd find that though.

I guess there is the possibility of AU finding a speciality ~6'10 big bodied guy just looking to make a NCAAT and okay with a limited role. Not sure there are many guys wanting to accept that role
