I know not everyone is cool with bama posters but SummerofGeorge poster this on the rant earlier.
quote:

They are #41 in SOS and have 5 Group 1 wins and 0 losses outside of Group 1. That's as many as Villanova and more than Duke, Xavier or North Carolina.

Kentucky has 2, by the way.

If Auburn LITERALLY lost out they'd be 19-12 with a RPI of 55. They could lose the rest of their regular season games and still be on the bubble. If they just beat Vanderbilt and South Carolina at home and lose every other game they go 21-10 with a RPI of 37. They've already won 19 games in a good conference. They are #8 in KenPom.

They are in the NCAAT.

looking at the ap polls people have released, we still seem to be getting little respect. most have us in the 15-20 range still. saw one at 9 and that was by far highest.

Yeah, SoG is about as non-biased and factual as it gets. If we ever opened the border, he would be a valuable addition

I think he is an admin on the Bama board, meaning he technically has access.

I keep up on the periphery only haha. As long as people aren’t killing each other on this board I stay out of the affairs of the SEC Rant admin stuff.

Per usual, AU has one of the larger loll ranking spreads in the top 25

AU is the only P5 team w a spread this big who didn’t lose this week from what I can tell

14 rankings between high low

There is one ballot by David Cloninger that has AU at like 20 while Tennessee and UK are 14/16

How are y’all feeling about the game tonight?

I’m a bit worried about it but I’m trying to come to terms with us being a legit team.

They are definitely not bad. I won't melt over a loss.. but if we are the 11th best team in the country we win this game.

Ole Miss plays a different style w lots of zone and has players who can put the team on their backs

It isn't absurd to think if AU is cold shooting vs their zone + Burnett or Tyree or King get hot we can lose

So according to Stephen Hooks on 6'8 220lb PF/C Akingbola

quote:

Not an if. He is and will be joining the Tigers in June.

If so, that addresses our biggest needs (more fouls + bigger pots player) going into next year assuming Wiley/Purifoy are gone

PG- Jr. Jared Harper / So. Davion Mitchell
** Emergency PG Samir Doughty

SG- Sr. Bryce Brown / Jr. Samir Doughty
SF- Jr. Mustapha Heron / Sr. Malik Dunbar / Jr. Samir Doughty
PF- Sr. Desean Murray / So. Chuma Okeke
C - Jr. Anfernee McElmore / Sr. Horace Spencer

Post Rotation- Fr. Babatunde Akingbola
