former Tiger Trayvon Reed is in the top 10 nationally in blocks per game

Looks like he's improved his offensive game. He's averaging over 30 minutes a game too.

Reed is extremely long and athletic 7'2 240lb guy. Not shocked he is doing well in the SWAC. Given his extremely low but efficient usage, I'd bet his offense is mostly putbacks and lobs and not real post ups

I am shocked that he has been able to get 30mpg and not have issues with fouls

Ohio St loses at home to Penn St after their ridiculous 9 point jump in the polls. Crazy ending. Penn St dominated pretty much the entire game until the end. OSU threw up a long prayer 3 and tied it with 5 seconds left. Then PSU made an early bank shot just inside half court.

Not sure why it is ridiculous. They deserved to be where they were before this L. Their ranking is in line w nearly every adv ranking too

You don't deserve a 9 point jump by beating Northwestern and Minnesota, unless pollsters still think Minnesota has a pulse.

Is the SWAC not the worst conference in college hoops? Tray on doing that in that conference doesn't really say much

Ya but they play a tough schedule and he shot 60+% in there too and held his own based on stats

A 9 rank swing has as much to do with teams losing around you. AU had a 6-7 rank swing after beating the Mississippi s

Also, quite a few pollsters lag behind in voting. When AU first was ranked we had the highest % of unranked ballots of the top 25, the next week despite no noteworthy wins we jumped up a ton as the remaining 19 unranked voters bumped us up

By far, but Texas Southern played the hardest ooc schedule I have ever seen. 13 straight road games against almost all power 5s, including like 4 or 5 against to 25 teams.

Palm loves him some Auburn bball... Which is weird because he normally hates AU Football in bowl projections

If only we could have that bracket he put out though. That's pretty much best case scenario matchups

That's surprising since LSU has won @Memphis, @Arkansas and @TAMU

We should win this game, but LSU is 3-1 in true road games with the only lose @Vandy.... which doesn't count because everyone loses in Memorial

If that's the bracket, a sweet 16 berth should be the floor baring any unforeseen circumstances. Final 4 wouldn't be out of the question.

Maybe someday Auburn Arena will be known as a place everyone loses...

Difference is that Vandy wins because of the arena, not because of their teams
