I know you are young and can probably handle it but I would hate those work hours. UGh.......

It would screw my sense of time up so bad, I would never know what was going on. I did that when I was young and going to school but that was a few years ago...... Worked on a truck line unloading freight all night. Was crazy

It pays the bills.

I don't mind working at night, what I'm not thrilled with is 6-12s. I don't need 72+ hours.

The nightshift I'm sure pays time and a half. But I need my sufficient amount of sleep(8hrs) with my job or I'm not as sharp. It means much more now than it did when I was younger.

My friend’s wife is nightshift RN and she only makes a few extra dollars per hour than day shift.

By law, a night shift is just that - a shift. Statutory overtime is based on cumulative hours, and not when your scheduled to work.
