He also has 4th and 1 mentality when 11 games were anti 4th and 1 mentality. What does it all mean?

From JGT:
Harsin says accounts of him mistreating coaches are "bullshite," which did little to assuage concerns that he mistreats coaches.
• Outgoing president Jay Gogue ("Docta Gooj") says university brass is reviewing "rumors and speculation" aiming to discern fact from fiction as it relates to Bryan Harsin's conduct.
• Some players have defended Harsin, some players have criticized Harsin.
• The Harsins (Bryan and Kes) are in Mexico.
NEW/NEW-ISH:
• The Forces Against Harsin are more steadfast than ever that they have a case to fire him with cause.
• Though there has been much pearl-clutching over nebulous allegations of personal misconduct, we're told no such allegation is part of The Forces Against Harsin's "case" against the head coach.
• The "case" revolves around Harsin's behavior as it relates to players and (former) coaches. In particular, some feel/assert that Harsin's behavior struck them as racist. We're told that claim is being investigated most rigorously. We're also told that Allen Greene met with a small group of football players this afternoon in connection with the claims of racism.
OTHER STUFF THAT INCLUDES SOME OF MY OPINION/INTERPRETATION:
• I thought we were headed toward a settlement negotiation earlier today, but now I don't see that happening.
• There will be lawyers.
• I sense that there could be some confusion over Harsin's interactions with players — some interpreted his words/ideas as a racist thing while others felt like they instead were more of a socio-economic thing. The two are related, but there are some important differences, too, and those differences really matter in the context of this dilemma.
• I don't see or sense a unified vision for what would happen at head coach should Harsin be removed. This is in keeping with more recent coups at Auburn, which focus almost solely on the take-down without much attention paid to actionable plans after the take-down. As it stands, I'd expect a search if Harsin is removed.
• Ignoring for a moment the WILL HE OR WON'T HE with Harsin, this is a super bad look for recruiting. That Instagram Live earlier today featuring former players Kobe Hudson, Lee Hunter and Smoke Monday did some amount of damage to the Tigers' already compromised recruiting reputation.
• Harsin appears to be digging his heels into the sand over this, which is a reasonable position if the claims of racism aren't affirmed. I personally don't see how he can continue as the Tigers' head coach. If he's fired, he's obviously gone. If he eludes that fate, he'll still have nasty scars from this confrontation and he'll know that he doesn't have the support he needs/wants/craves/requires. This feels terminal.

Without some really specific incidents that are corroborated, this isn’t in the terminate for cause category.

Just crazy to think Harsin has gone 20+ years as a coach without allegations of racism, including stints in Texas and Arkansas, and is just now being called out on it while he happens to be on vacation. Then multiple black athletes come to his defense.
If they are really going after him for racism, this is gonna get ugly. That’s the kinda thing that ends coaching careers. No way he lays down and takes that accusation. We may be in for a crazy few weeks

Harsin is in a no win situation. the ptb needs to have a plan.

So they are pulling the race card stuff to get him out. They have found their sure fired method to avoid the buyout now.

I mean his time in Arkansas ( a racist state) and Texas is pretty small compared to his time in Boise (I’m guessing not very diverse over there either.)
Y’all place way too much emphasis on what players will defend Harsin. 100% of the players would’ve defended Gus and that didn’t mean zilch.

Please say more. This is about him being mean to nameless and faceless athletic dept staffers? Wow just wow. Can we get an example of what went to HR? What did he do?
Posted on 2/4/22 at 6:03 pm to WDE24
It wouldn’t surprise me if Harsin was racist. Wouldn’t surprise me if he is not racist. I’m just saying relying on half of andectotal witness and casting the rest of the witness as bad apples is unfair and defeats having any witnesses up there. Did you get the truth or did you get what you wanted to hear?
Tay has been saying Harsin doesn’t understand the southern black athlete for a while now. Smoke corroborated it. He does have some learning to do.

They seem to be using the Dems plan that they used to smear Trump.
1. Affairs
2. Racist
3. Mean
I even saw somewhere someone was accusing him of being bipolar.

The fricking PTB accusing someone of racism is the GREATEST irony in the world. That is psychotic level of projection. These idiots just want AG out , probably partly because he’s blank. Too bad for them coach Bruce pearl loves Allen Greene. All this shite is a joke.
Harsin riding. Auburn is a joke and its own worst enemy. Never change.

Yea because by all accounts Gus was a good guy? I think players generally have a good insight into stuff like that. I’m not sure you could take players opinions on football matters totally to heart, because emotions would influence their decisions, but them just judging his personality I think we should consider.
I mean it even says Allen Greene is meeting with players to get their opinions. What’s the difference in them telling him and posting it on twitter? It’s gonna be the players opinions either way
I have no idea if Bryan Harsin is racist, but guess what, none of us do. The only thing we literally have at this point is the opinions of the players. Some liked him, some didn’t. I have personally seen more supportive statements than not supportive statements.
If Harsin is racist or did anything racist to anyone then I hope he’s gone. But I havent seen anything indicating he was

Pretty much sums it up. Don’t forget he was against vax mandates. They haven’t

Also, Chandler wootens mom just got done praising Harsin on twitter. Said she wishes Wooten had more time with him.
Yep, definitely racist.

I see about half n half. Not much to learn other than he definitely isn’t a “good guy” like Gus.
