This has nothing to do with his 6-7 record and everything to do with what he's NOT UNDERSTANDING. Saban knew what the frick he was doing and landed the top recruiting class in the country his first year. Harsin is failing left, right, and center and his answer to recruiting is that his way works. What about his way seems to be working so far?
Other coaches seem to know that he's a mess. This isn't some highly regarded elite coach who we're fricking with for no reason SMH. He's getting embarrassed on the recruiting trail. This isn't Nick Saban. Look at the incompetency in his staffing hires.

And firing him now after one season, in February makes no sense. It’s a bad look, and it puts us at high risk of hiring another nobody, and we end up in the same situation in the not too distant future. Give Harsin another year, and if he doesn’t cut it, fire him and do a search the right way.

What has harsin done in the last 2 months? Every year before Harsin we always here about this coach is visiting this recruit or that recruit but not this year. This staff is not working hard enough to recruit. The proof is in the class we just landed. Metafour is right about a lot of what he is saying we have problems in the coaching staff. Why has nothing been said about a OC you would think we are not even looking for one.
If my company went 6-7 I would not be on vacation with out first finding empolyees (OC) and players.

he has been here one fricking year. These top recruits have been being recruited for two to three years by the same HC. Give the man some fricking time to see what he can do. We knew damn good and well we had deficiencies on our team going into this year. We had a decent season going before Bo went down.

In a perfect world, this is what should have happened. If you hire a coach, let him run it and live or die on that.
But, at this point, keeping him right now is almost as bad as firing him.
Whoever, coordinated/put this stuff out at this time did AU a tremendous disservice.

Mario Cristobal had 2-3 year relationship with Trevonte Citizen? Whats the excuse for the transfer portal? Everyone else had relationships and we didn't LOL?
It's funny; Harsin actually HAD a relationship with Clemons - and he literally lost that kid TWICE. Even after Cristobal left and he was falling into our lap, fricking Michigan scooped him out of nowhere. Michigan literally scooped a LB we wanted out of Alabama BTW.

Our staff literally thought they had him in the bag. Spent SO MUCH time recruiting him. Cristobal, an elite recruiter, came in and snatched up up within weeks of taking the Miami job. They don't even have an OC hired yet.
That's called getting OBLITERATED. But you're over here using the BS "relationship" excuse. It's not relationships, he just doesn't understand recruiting.
