Please help me understand why we continue to hear of JJ being in a 3 man race for QB? I feel like I am in the Twilight Zone. It can't happen. No matter what he looks like in practice. Would Gus in any scenario make him the starter and go through that mess of the JJ yips AGAIN? JJ is not the QB for his system is he??

But then again, what could Gus say or do at this time? Where do you move him to? Can't play TE because he doesn't like getting hit. I suggested holder to a friend, but he said that was too critical of a role....which I can't argue with. I then suggested windy kickoff holder, and that's where we left it.

Gus knows his back is against the wall. I believe that we will see his best attempt to be a head coach this season. From what I have heard, Gus is finished trying to be what he thinks the ideal head coach should be, and is attempting to do the job his way, bringing in people who buy into and understand HIS system and micromanaging every aspect of offense. If he starts JJ, JF3, or Snowboard Cam it will be because he believes they can contribute to him keeping his job. I'm excited about this season because it will be a turning point for Auburn Football. At the end of the season (or possibly before)we will either be moving forward with a successful Gus who has found his style of leadership, or we will be moving forward without Gus, and possibly without Jay, and hopefully without Tim Jackson (I know, no relation anymore, but I can hope, right?)!

Dude it's been discussed that Jason Campbell struggled and was tall and black and therefore one can reasonably assume JJ will be the next Jason Campbell. At least I read that on here a few times.

I am looking forward to the next catch phrase.

'13 seconds better'
'fast and physical'
'hell, just beat someone'

Edited- this just in... The new phrase is "earn it"

Go watch his HUDL. That first run made me fap, shades of Cam..... right?

Between he and JF3, we should end up with a playmaker

Javiere Mitchell is leaving, and at first 247 included Jordan Diamond, but I am not seeing that anywhere now.

Per BMatt

-Kerryon Johnson (shoulder), Tre Matthews (Shoulder) & Jeremiah Dinson (knee) won't be available this spring

- Players BMatt listed as limited: Tyler Queen (50reps throwing), Kyle Davis (Shoulder), Holsey (knee), Truitt (?)

-JF3 has been impressive during winter worksouts (suck it Sanders)

-Chandler Cox/KPettway will get RB reps (I imagine for passing downs as blocker )

- Somebody jokingly asked Gus as he was leaving if he's saying he doesn't have a personality and he replied. "No I don't, but you already knew that."

BMatt said players came up with it.

I would have preferred #SwagAttack with JF3 our captain of swag

Looking at Devin Adams' highlight film, he has a lot of experience with horrible pass blocking. Given Robert Leff at LT and someone who can't beat Leff at RT, I think that experience will be valuable at QB
