I mean yes, that’s the exact point I originally was making

His throwing mechanics were a huge concern to the nfl and they hoped they could overhaul them. They couldn’t and he couldn’t succeed at that level. Brown will have similar concerns going into the draft with his throwing mechanics, regardless of his numbers and stats.

Tim also didn't have a strong arm at all. Byron leftwich, Philip Rivers and several others have a long wind up or side arm delivery BUT the ball comes out like a missile. You cannot have a slow wind up AND weak arm. Tim should have played TE. Byrum has a slow wind up but he can spin a ball at least 65-70 yards from what I've seen. That's the difference.

Don’t disagree. Again, the original question I responded to bringing up Tebow was asking about throwing motion/mechanics and the nfl concerns about them. In that regard, Tebow and Brown are similar and it will be a concern to nfl teams. I did not say they are the same player or have all the same weaknesses, was talking specifically to the NFL’s concerns with throwing mechanics.

Leftwich was able to overcome it for a decent career because of his arm strength, Tebow wasn’t due to lack or arm strength and frankly much bigger accuracy issues.

Overall, Brown is a much more gifted QB than Tebow ever was.

Manning at Texas is worse than the entire group. Always slinging sidearm. Question becomes what influence his brothers and Dad will have. Tebow had no support. However, Manning throws a far superior ball than Tebow. We’ll see what Brown does this season.

Okay? I really am unsure what point you’re trying to get across, so apologies if I’m not addressing it and maybe im just reading right past it.

I don’t think anyone has argued he is or isn’t better than any of those guys. Point was simply that the NFL will have concerns about his delivery

His overall stats will determine any NFL ambitions. My point being that unless he is changed for the better in college, it will be pointless to remake him in the NFL. If he can sling it in the NFL…..

I don’t think anyone thinks the nfl will try and overhaul his delivery. I think the Tebow experiment ended that notion for most, you just can’t completely change something like that, it isn’t a golf swing.

Tebow's problem was he worked out like he was a LB. He got to the point he was too stiff to throw the ball.

I agree, but I also believe arm strength is God given. You have it or don't like the ability to KO a person. People bring up Browns delivery and compare it to Tim but I just highlight the immense difference I see I'm pure arm talent even though the throwing motion is similar.

Josh Allen had a pretty significant throwing mechanic change between his rookie and 2nd seasons.

Someone mentioned earlier, his motion is very similar to Randall Cunningham and that is correct.

Now lets get back to uh, spring practice
