I thought they were doing orange blue and green jerseys still, for S&C

And I though I was so clever going to the roster. Bah. Good catch.

Wouldn't have been as bad if you didn't recognize that guy as white kid on the team

Malzahn on Melvin Ray "He's a big, athletic guy" He's making plays"

Malzahn says "Dismukes has been very vocal, he is the leader up front"

"Jordan Diamond has a lot of ability. He's a big guy, pleased with his transition from T to G"

He is a freak athlete that is big enough to punish people. Not surprised. Glad they are giving him a chance. Use to see him working out at the rec and he was huge

Drunk assholes have success in leadership roles in the past

Tyler Nero looking good damn fit
He's got a long way to go if he ever wants to see any part of the field for Auburn.

If Ken Carter started for Auburn at DT than near anyone can do it.

I hope by next year that gut starts getting smaller

I'm not worried about guts on linemen. Show me a pro DT that doesn't have a little bit of a gut. There's plenty of muscle under that. You can see by photos that Gabe has added muscle.

If he has been doing well enough to have gotten a green jersey and kept it from day 1, that tells you something right there.

fwiw, PM on 24/7 said he looks to him like he's in the best physical condition of his career so far.

Go home Brannigan. Carter actually has the size needed to play the position unlike Nero and playing under an inept coaching staff.

Nero needs to add weight but if he stays at this rate he will be a rock of muscle with the shape he is in.

I was saying it would be ridoculous if Gabe lost his gut and replaced it with muscle. Seems to be the trend amongst lineman. Not worried about the gut though

I said the other day Gabe and Eguae look like they're in really good shape and out hustling a lot of guys through their drills

Well, I'd rather have Ken Carter starting over Jeff Whitaker. At least he can move a little bit.

Hoe can you tell. He is on his feet for only about 30% of the plays in he in on.

@wareagleextra 27m

Former DE, current OLB LaDarius Owens visiting with reporters. Says he wanted to change positions for 2 years, and lost 15 pounds to do so.

@wareagleextra 5m

Check that, Owens is mike (inside) linebacker, not will. Impressive - that's a tough change from defensive end.

Didn't the last staff say Owens wanted to move to DE? Or did he say that? I thought it was the coaches, because if they wasted two years of his college career with him playing another position he didn't want to be playing....
