Got out at daylight. I have found that throwing the net is much easier right at day break. Caught 2 full wells of white bait for the day.

Kind of a crazy day yesterday but we staying in shore and caught some of the normal stuff. Snook hid from me but for some reason the flounder were eating. I have only caught a couple since I moved here but we caught 6 big ones and a few smaller ones yesterday. And in a few locations. Weird

Fun day.

Love flounder. Been getting a lot of grouper from a local guy. Hoping to go out in a few weeks

No more than anyone else brother. But I appreciate it.

Now I am sitting here at 2:00am watching some kind of horror movie about a half lamb, half human kid in Iceland. Weird times.

One'oclock here.

Great day, just woke from funneling down a large pizza, and into a fresh cup of coffee.

We had local water in July so let's play our local rapid. Great standing wave and some good 360 holes. Locals every where just standing around wading in the eddies, but mostly looking. So I grab this uncle and his niece and walked then out upstream into the low flow and slide down on our buts. Wasn't long before everyone was out shoulder deep and swimming. Great day... did I say?

I read that a few times. I know you had pizza and possibly some coffee.

Sounds like you went swimming?

Pretty much.

I've swam that place from when it's looked like the grand canyon to when it's just a trickle.

So it was cool getting a bunch of kids in over their heads (so to speak). Was kinda like you slingshotting lures up under boat docks. It just helps for others to see it done. And the river water was killer in the heat.

Got to take the Mrs fishing on Friday. We caught 21 between us in 2 1/2 hrs, mostly spots with some shoalies mixed in. Had some super aggressive fish, nearly doubled up a few times with spots trying to hit the crankbait in the mouth of another spot. We'd have 3 to 4 2lb+ fish chasing the one with the lure in its mouth. Water was crystal clear, so you could see every fish. It had been a little while since we'd had a day like that. Good times.

That sounds awesome. Spots can be some very cool creatures. I cant tell you the amount of doubles my customers caught over the years. Big ones too. they dont play well with others.

Glad you guys are still able to get them fired up in the heat.
