Mark Schlabach, espn, on Finebaum who's been in AU all day said he doesn't think we are going to hear anything today. They are focused on the new president announcement. Sounding like next week,

Isn't it amazing how Auburn has all the resources to win, but how impossible it is for everyone to get on the same page? Unless another Cam Newton falls into our lap we will just keep spinning our wheels and go nowhere. Like a Kia on wet grass

He kept Pearl from bolting for a traditional basketball school. If Harsin gets canned can he get everyone on the same page to make a homerun hire that works for everyone?

I have been critical of Harsin from the coordinator hires last year. Little has impressed me, but I was still hoping I was wrong about him for the sake of Auburn football. When I saw the rumors about the affair I knew it was bad because I knew it came from our own PTB. I have zero idea what will happen and had little faith Harsin would be successful but this is beyond bad for Auburn.
In retrospect you probably can't win at this level without a general level of support among the PTB. Harsin was probably doomed even if he'd done everything right.
