Gus Malzahn walked out onto the field with his finger in the air right as Davis passed him. Davis had to have been 50 yards from the touchdown, but Gus knew. The game was won.

By the time CD was at midfield, the only person that could tackle him was Therieze.

yeah, after he passed the coaches every knew, only thing that could have happened was CD falls

I believe he was turning around to tell the team to stay on the sideline until the play was over so there wouldnt be any flags. He did similar thing when Dee Ford sacked JFF to win.

Would have felt better if it was Holland

Once he passed Gus, everybody knew he was scoring. I don't think I even saw him actually cross the goal line because we were already celebrating in the student section.

I like this thread better
ETA. I have not talked Football much since Pasadena. I cant even say that I am over that shite yet. I have not watched any of our last years games/plays/replays/ etc since I got back from California
I did watch this video a few mins ago. Like a lot of you, I have seen a lot of Auburn football games over the years. I have watched a many of them from home and a ton of them from section 104 in JHS.
I will never, ever, forget the look on my wife's face or the look on the people around me in JHS that night who I have sat with for many many years. When Chris Davis ran that ball back and we sorted out the chaos, it was unreal. John Pass sits right behind me. Brandon Cox just in front of me and many many others. That look, I will never forget.
After watching these people go through 2012, and most of us were there every weekend, it made things right again…
Now I back to sulking in the corner and being pissed at what happened in California.
Reminiscing :off:

THe main thing I take away is McCarron being a little bitch and running off the field.

I still get nervous watching that play because I think Davis is going to get his feet tangled up as he walks into the end zone.
